Endacopia

This game is a perfect example of how you blend horror into a game in such a way that it completely catches the player off guard. The game understands what it is, and because of this it avoids the pitfalls other games like this fall into because it doesn't take itself seriously while also at the same time taking itself very seriously. It has been a VERY long time since I've played a game that has unsettled me in the way this one does because it doesn't overdo it, and even when the horror elements present themselves it's very swiftly followed by events that are so nonchalant and well comedically timed that it lulled be back into a false sense of security to do it again. I think that this game will be a cult classic gem for anyone that likes Surrealist Horror, and it has a killer soundtrack to go with it that surprisingly high effort for a point and click adventure game.

This game is not what I was expecting and I ended up really enjoying it. I thought that it would just be a silly puzzle game with maybe a little horror involved but man the lore of the game is pretty interesting and the characters are all really refreshing especially the mime girl and jester guy. Some parts of the game caught me really off guard because one minute I'm just putting something where it goes and the next I'm just in a pitch black room with something crawling towards me as I move.
