This is a bizarre game, and honestly I kinda love it. I'm done with... maybe about a third of Chapter 1, I think, and it's just a blast. If you like weird stuff, go in with as little foreknowledge as possible, and do your best to solve puzzles on your own. Also, as a note: I run Linux and usually use the Linux Zen kernel. If you're having any issues with getting the game to run, try a different kernel, like the Linux LTS Kernel (which is what worked for me). Other than that, I've had no technical issues whatsoever.
After 3 and a half years of waiting, and after beating this game. Let's just say this game is worth the DAMN wait. Is it worth 15 bucks? YES. Does this game scare the living hell out of me? YES. And finally. Was it very fun? Yes. It is.
What a marvelous game
one of the coolest games ive ever played i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love you andy
This is a really good game, I loved the puzzles and the minigames. The boss fights were fun. I wasn't expecting the horror to be good but at some points it really got me.

This is one of those games with an experience I probably won't forget for a long while, between the concerning background to the goofy environment. To me the game strikes a special balance that is rare to come by for a point and click adventure, one which makes it feel novel yet somehow familiar at the same time.
I can tell that the author put a lot of work and care into this game, the music was good, the visuals were good. But some game design choices were really frustrating and the endings were disappointing, especially the hardest one. The amount of work required for the last ending simply isn't worth it, I managed to solve only one secret puzzle without looking things up. Maybe I'm just bad at solving puzzles, who knows. Also, the final boss in the last ending was RIDICULOUSLY hard, took me about 10 tries and 3 ragequits. And I really don't like how the secret puzzles are much much much harder than the regular ones. It's like the game punishes you for digging deeper by making things almost unsolvable for you. Most of my complaints were about the C ending, the secret one, but one of A and B endings was also really frustrating because they are identical except for one decision, which means you have to solve all the same exact puzzles and defeat the same bosses twice. Especially annoying was the Misery Town puzzles because there is one pre last puzzle where you have to type a word you get from a character after like 3 three puzzles, but if you already completed the game you know the answer and should be able to skip repeating the same song and dance right? Wrong. The game doesn't allow you to write the correct answer until you get it from a character. Why? Why do I have to repeat everything I did in a previous run? If I could go back in time before I bought the game I would tell myself to watch someone else play it, that probably would have been more enjoyable than doing what I actually did.
