ENA: Dream BBQ

I am absolutely blown away by this small masterpiece. It is a gaming experience defined by pure nonsense and absolute madness. The art style is incredible, and I loved the mix of graphics and visual techniques used, which create a truly unique atmosphere. The aesthetics heavily channel Japanese media culture, featuring many characters with a distinct anime and manga-esque characterization and way of speaking. Beneath the surface of madness, I found the commentary on the corporate world incredibly relevant and spot-on. I imagine this critique of alienation is strongly linked to the disastrous and high-pressure Japanese work culture. A massive shoutout goes to the audio design: the mix of languages and the variety of voice actors involved is awesome, and I was shocked and thrilled to hear the legendary ThePruld in the mix! I must admit that, being completely new to the ENA universe before this game, I am surely missing some deep lore pieces, but the experience fascinated me so much that I will definitely catch up on all the original material. In the meantime, I completely deconstructed this first chapter, exploring every possible corner and unlocking both endings. I eagerly await the upcoming chapters. Amazing job by the developers!
