ENA: Dream BBQ

at first i thought this was going to be a edgy and corny game where you kill people and turn them into bbq. i was wrong. i personally never sat down and watched an episode of ena, so i did not know anything about what i was going to experience. well, this was an amazing game. the cutscenes are just eye candy. i love the effort put into this game and im genuinely waiting for the next episode. i am also willing to buy the dlc. honestly i was sleeping on the entirety of ena-related content as a whole. (also i love the multilinguality of this game's characters. im happy they added a greek one too.) Ok, this is me after completing the game from the humanboard route. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This was some cinema. this was suprisingly hard in comparison to the other route i used to take. I mean holy. Damn. Also another greek character woohoo.

If you want to know what this game is like, there are two sides to it. First, there is a very ambiguous message and a weird protagonist, but who is also relatable in a way (a split personality between a salesman who gives a good image and a cranky girl who's tired of everything). When you start theorising, you could get into some weirdly deep messages. The other is that it's very random, or schizophrenic. Even though it's very coherent storytelling, don't be surprised if a spaceship comes out of the ground and says "Alpargatas con patatas". It's sometimes like you took a huge amount of LSD.

Such a wonderfully abstract game. This game was recommended to me by a friend and safe to say I will be remaining friends with him as long as I live. This game is somehow both really weird and difficult to keep track of whilst simultainiously having a story that is not only easy to follow, but really interesting. Gameplay and puzzles are fun and lore is hopefully gonna get expanded on in future chapters! 10/10

When I first played this it sent me into such a mind altering state of existential questioning I ended up thinking new thoughts no sober person should think of. 10/10 it melts my brain every time
