Empires of the Undergrowth

Sim Ants was one of my favourite games back in the day, so I was excited to try this modern take, However, right now it is pretty much what you would expect from an early access game. Bugs and issues..... It says full controller support (but not really) Somethings you can not access with your controller (or at least I couldn't figure it out). Trying to switch between using controller and keyboard doesn't really work for me either.... Whenever I push the menu button on the controller it just freezes the game. So I can't stop playing until I complete a level and it auto-saves. It will probably be a fun game in once the wrinkles get ironed out. I can definitely see the potential.

Excellent game! Intriguing to learn about ants. Helped our little one (8) to completely get over her fear of ants. Lots of fun for dad, too.

Good game but important issue with Steam Deck. There is a bug where you can't play certain story missions because to start them you need to select a particular option that just does not work with controllers/Steam Deck. Devs are apparently aware of the issue but ut's not be fixed for several months.

What a hidden gem!! 9.5/10 This game is FULL of bugs! All sorts of Bugs, some nice bugs like aphids, and some nasty bugs like emperor scorpions, and a supreme bug... but I will let you discover that one ;) I have played many different RTS games, and this is one of the BEST I have played in a VERY VERY LONG TIME. I stumbled on this game and I was initially hesitant, but damn am I really glad I bought this game. It holds a somewhat unique style, and a rather comical and entertaining story. But saying that, the one game that this remind me of, and I dare say may have drawn inspiration from, is Dungeon Keeper. Which is not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination, Dungeon Keeper is an absolute work of love and art. If I were to rate this game for what it is and the size of the dev team (3 people as far as I know), the thought, care and detail that has gone into this game. I would have to give it a 9.5/10 I being a veteran gamer of 30 years gaming, am a HARSH critic of games, so this rating I have not given lightly or without thought. My suggestion when playing in terms of the difficulty, choose Easy if you are after the story mainly, and medium-hard for a challenge, where you likely will need to replay the occasional mission and Insane if you just like to loose

地下蚁国是一款与众不同的RTS游戏，它是一款拟真的蚂蚁游戏，不像是传统的RTS，它模拟了真实蚂蚁的生长，在现实中蚂蚁可不会点一下就出现，蚂蚁需要时间来成长，而且生长期间也需要食物这一点也有很好的体现，你要建造蚂蚁的孵化方格才能孵化蚂蚁，每个孵化方格只能有一个卵，在孵化后你的工蚁会放上一个新的卵，这看似很麻烦，但这独特的爆兵方式让你的蚂蚁在死亡后能够第一时间孵化出新的一只，当然这游戏不是没有缺点的 缺点：只有你玩了才知道，在科2眼里“30=40”，“魔鬼隐翅虫=小”！这还只是第一场实验！还有，从火蚁章节开始极限成就就不是人做的，5.2“掠夺掠夺者”要从行军蚁手里抢回200个食物，是200个不是200点！极限已经很难打了，黑行军数值更是爆炸！玛塔又贵。5.3白蚁关卡都没做完就搬上来了，音乐白天用的是3.1，晚上是1.1，前两章好歹是还有自己白天的音乐，这关根本没有！那个防蜘蛛恐惧症也是逆天，部分蜘蛛在拉满之后也会漏出腿，官方是不知道若隐若现的东西才最可怕吗！ 优点：除了独特的玩法外，地下蚁国前三、四两章的音乐绝对是百听不厌的，而且优化这块是除了5.3都好到爆看到最低配置你就知道了，但因此画质没有好到哪里去，不过因为上帝视角的缘故所以也够看。 总之如果你是一个喜欢全收集的玩家，就赶紧走，这成就真的会打得你怀疑人生，但如果你想要欣赏音乐，或者是喜欢看着蚂蚁的话那就可以入手，毕竟简单难度是真的简单啊
