Fun relaxing space sim game.
genuinely cannot get it to run i've been at this for over an hour don't bother with this ♥♥♥♥. the launcher is laggy it's six images
Elite is a space simulator that is a little diffrent from your average. first off... combat is optional. the player base is more cooperative then average. and it is EXPANSIVE!!!! with a 1:1 or more ratio of our real milky way galaxy. you could explore for a life time and never have a chance to see a small percentage of the galaxy. you can mine, you can engage in commerce, you can give tours of nebule. of course hunt pirates, upgrade and customize your ship. really do anything ya want. a slight caviot. the learning curve is pretty steep, and this game requires some comitimit. it is a long term game. think a "non kiddie`fied" No Man's sky.
It would be nice to have some sort of story or even missions that have concurrent characters to make all the stuff a little less dull in the end. For all the world building you wouldn't know it by playing the game and exploring without having to listen to audio logs or read about the interesting politics.
peak just don't get lost
I have played a lot of Elite Dangerous - just not through Steam (something like 3,500hrs according to the in-game tracking!) For me, Elite really does capture the scale and grandure of the galaxy; travelling feels like a serious exercise. The spacecraft handle well, everything looks fantastic. There are a lot of things to do, but it is advisible to take it at their own pace and allow yourself some variety; deliberately "grinding" for some specific goal can become tedious; let things happen as they happen. It is solid and stable, and the ability to play in a private group without concern about the occasional "unsavoury" players, is an added bonus if you are looking for a chill experience. Some of the gameplay design choices are not the best, but they are no worse than many AAA games in the market. You will encounter places where you wish they had gone into a bit more depth, or been a bit more creative or adventurous in how they implemented a mechanism. Overall, though, for me it is still the best spaceship-piloting game currently around.
The ground missions need some work. And it'd be nice if we could walk around inside our ship. But this game will always be the best space simulator. It's nice to just disappear into the void for awhile.

Demasiado bueno. Lástima que el motor gráfico es algo viejo y se nota, pero es totalmente disfrutable y con ReShade o filtros de Nvidia se mejora mucho.
I LOVE Elite Dangerous! Although I've been only playing on Steam for a few years, my Brother-in-Law exposed me to the game in Germany on 1988. I've been plating off an on ever since. And I just purchased a top quality Gaming PC so I can play the Odessey Version.
