Daher keine Empfehlung

Good core gameplay. Not as frustrating as Benedict Foddy's Getting Over It. Not immediately obvious you need to hold "high jump" *and* use normal movement keys.
Egg Returns Home is a simple, but incredibly frustrating platformer. It’s hard, but not because of the level design, but because of your character (just an egg) movement. You don’t move, you just jump left or right, and hopefully pick some momentum from there. I say hopefully because it’s really hard to predict it. Most levels I beat because I felt I was lucky, not because I was good. Yes, you get better with time and adjust a bit, but it’s still annoying to play. Especially the big jump. You have to press another button at the same time as the jumping direction. BUT, that button needs to be pressed BEFORE the direction, otherwise you’ll only make a small jump. That alone cost me a lot of deaths especially on the latter levels, where you need more control. The game has 40 levels, 2 difficulty modes, achievements and trading cards, so it has some effort behind it. Despite the difficulty, you can beat everything in 2-3 hours if you’re patient. However, I can’t recommend this, because this is a great example of what bad hard difficulty is. Most of the time when you die you feel that was bad luck, and not your own fault. With plenty of good hard games out there, skip this, unless you just want a reason to get frustrated.
A platformer about an egg cracks under expectations.
