Interesting amount of nuance for a small project. Your chicken has gravity (and bounces) making movement a constant active element. You eat things so you can drop eggs that fall onto your foe's screen. Since it's fundamentally PvP, and another player will probably be smart and skilled enough to dodge an egg or two, the optimal strategy seems to be stockpiling eggs and releasing them all at once in a wave that is harder to avoid. Some foodstuffs have specific advantages but apart from healing and powerups there isn't any practical strategy to how you pick these up, though the triple corn (gives 3 eggs for one pickup) is always better than regular corn. However, each time you eat a pickup, your chicken gets fatter, making it harder to dodge, and encouraging you to drop your eggs to slim down. There is a pickup that reduces your chicken's size, but it seems pretty rare. Otherwise, it's a sort of elimination tournament style of multiplayer, where as players are eliminated they get automatically paired with other victors until one chicken remains.

Eggs do in fact drop, and then you drop more eggs. It does what it says on the tin. It also has the I'm Eggcelent hat, so I'm pretty sure this is the definitive Egg-like game.
