Easter Bunny is a template copy + paste game/asset flip. The "developer", ImperiumGame/Falco Software (He's using Cow Games as another shell account to hide his identity here) used the craptastic node-webkit/NW.js, copying + pasting and arranging premade assets, using premade level design tools so they could pretend they're an actual game developer. The developer is a known asset flipper, using a number of shell accounts, stealing game templates and asset packs and putting his own name on them, and pumping the review scores with fake reviews from Russian accounts. It's bizarre that Valve continues to permit this obvious fraud on Steam, but here we are, leaving it to the community to warn gamers about these bad actors. This is just a basic asset flip, a simple top down stealth game template stolen from some website with some stolen sprites and tilesets slapped on top, maybe 2-3 hours effort tops to make this cash grab. It's nothing but a valueless scam in terms of actual entertaining gameplay... but this was never intended to be a game for gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Easter Bunny is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
A very colorful and full of magic game about everyone's favorite Easter from an unusual angle. The gameplay, though simple, but addictive for a long time!
A beautiful game made with love! love the visual style even though i'm not a kid!
this game starts out fun for the first few levels but becomes an absolute slog later on. In order to progress each level, you hide a number of Easter Eggs as the bunny and then get to the exit. To do this there are highlighted circles that randomly spawn in locations on the map, every time you are defeated or start a level over they are in new locations at random. you have to walk to a circle, press "Z" to drop an egg there and then go to the next. once you do like 3 of 3, 5 of 5, or 6 of 6.. you then return to the exit and have a 5 second extraction timer. If kids walking around the map find an egg, they steal it and you have to go retrieve it from the base they take it to and hide it again. if they see you with their vision cone, you lose. if they get 3 of your eggs to the HQ and you don't get them back in 30 seconds, you lose. These kids arn't difficult to avoid in the first few levels but it can get annoying figuring out a good timing to put eggs in circles and then sprint to the exit and extract before one is found. this becomes soooo tedious in later levels, to the point I had to stop on level 12 as the sheer random chance of the placement of the circles and the walking of the kids makes it a massive game of luck and timing. The achievements are tied to collectables, carrots in each level. you can get the carrot achievement separate from beating the level or not. that's my recommended strategy. starting a new level, don't worry about hiding eggs. try to find all the carrots in one life without being spotted to get the achievement. then do the eggs. you do not have to do them at the same time. Here's an issue.. level 8 is broken. You're supposed to collect 6 carrots on level 8 to get the achievement for that level. There are only 5 carrots. I am not the only one who's found this problem. level 8 achievement is impossible to get without tools and i do not advocate for that at all. Unless you're a filthy cheater, it is impossible to get the level 8 achievement. so if you do have the achievement, people know you cheated. that is all. don't get this game
I like being an Easter bunny and Hiding eggs from little snot nose kids that probably stay up until at least 2am in the Summers to playing Yeeps games with me! It is so fun to let them open the plastic egg as they love the cholocate inside and then boom! You lose because one snot nose little Swamppy kid saw you dressed up like the Easter Bunny and now you have to restart the level! Awesome Game! Bug note: Fixt he music, I cannot toggle it on or off, it is good music though :D
I loved the game, It's great to play when bored, but now I hate kids. Anyways it's a good game

Not the worst thing that you can spend a dollar on (on sale), but there are too few interesting mechanics and you rely too much on luck for a good run. Check out the video preview. The zones where you hide eggs randomly spawn on every life, so you might replay the same level a dozen times until you get a layout that's easy enough to complete. The game would have benefited from traps and snares to disable the NPCs.
A cool 2D indie arcade game for 5+ hours, although it is a little crooked in places, it is played in the same breath!
