Early Mellow

"Early Mellow" is a bizarre and badly made "experimental walking sim" or something... it's just bad. Whatever "art' they were trying to accomplish here is demolished by the extraordinarily amateur delivery. What do you do in the game? Walk around, interact with a few things... the best thing that can be said about this "game" is that it's short, and also the uninstall feature works really well. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Bardzo krótka i ciekawie zrobiona gra, ALE próbuje być horrorem i rozwiązywaniem zagadek gdzie żadne z tych nie jest dobrze poprowadzone, jest o wiele za krótka by coś przekazać, bo zarys jakiejś tam fabuły jest, ale kończy się w losowym momencie przez Jumpscare który jest od czapy, jakby była trochę dłuższa i miała więcej sensu to by było cudo. Jako debiut twórców wyszła świetnie, czekam na nowe gry w takim stylu od nich. https://youtu.be/31xHYfLGy_I

Jestem na tę grę za głupi. Lub ta gra jest słaba.

Gotta leave the first review, game is creepy, but now what I expected, started by falling of the map multiple times because I wanted to see what happens, didin't really understand what to do after getting to the teleport, after that it just was creepy, when i got the gun i just expected to start shooting, but nothing happened lol, the end was also a cheeky jumpscare haha, was kinda fun to play but lacks a lot

i love the style
