microtransactions in SP modes, classic EA
No SteamOS/Linux support and insane choices made to limit the playability of offline modes #EAPlayDontPay
Scummy EA put micro transactions and slowed down progression to incentivize purchasing micro transactions. #CFBPlayDontPay
Pretty awful. If you were to ask a normal human who's not a complete boot licker what they want a football video game to be like, it would be exactly opposite of this. Piss poor Madden gameplay (which is also terrible) combined with Madden's terrible progression system. Just another year proving that NCAA football was made by smart individuals and CFB is made by actual morons.
I definitely like this game more then others, I haven't played since 25 since I wanted to wait until more teams joined the fbs. But they definitely made dynasty way harder with transfers and the nil which I enjoy since I felt in 25 it was too easy. All I need it for is dynasty and nothing else, but I would still wait until this game went onto sale,
While there are some welcome improvements to the gameplay and presentation, they simply aren't enough to make up for the frustrating design decisions that hold this game back. The biggest issue is the drastic reduction in XP earned through offline modes, which makes progression feel unnecessarily slow and clearly pushes players toward spending more time grinding. It takes away from what should be a fun single-player experience. Dynasty mode, which should be the heart of the game, continues to suffer from a recruiting system that feels broken, inconsistent, and poorly balanced. Despite another year of development, many of the same issues remain, making long-term saves more frustrating than rewarding. It's disappointing to see a series that returned with so much excitement and goodwill lose momentum so quickly. Instead of building on a strong foundation, it feels like the focus has shifted toward artificial progression systems rather than improving the core experience. At this point, the PC modding community is doing more to keep the game enjoyable than the developers themselves. Without the incredible work of modders fixing bugs, improving gameplay, and restoring features, this would be a very difficult game to recommend.
wont let me find games online. so tired of EA'S ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Greedy as always
RTG is literally not playable on PC, you run into the risk of being soft locked for every college exam you have. There's a bug where you can't see the question and you can't see any answers, so your just stuck there. Unless you make manual saves before exams, which is the only work around from what I can think of, you essentially soft locked from playing this character again because the auto saves takes you right back into the exam and again with no options to choose from.
Now that they are taking away Micro Transactions the game will be better. It is already a great game, MT just gave it the bad rap that it deserved because of the greed
