TL;DR | Gameplay - 9/10 | Dynasty Mode - 9/10 | RTG Mode - 8/10 | CUT - N/A (I do not play) To the people that are leaving a negative review for the micro-transactions, I completely agree with the level of frustration. As a mostly Dynasty only player, I didn't even notice the microtransaction option when upgrading the coach until I read about it. I was upset that they lowered the speed of the XP gains in Dynasty, but they have since fixed that since launch. I use mods on CFB 27 and it seriously saves the game from anything "negative" about it. I barely play online, let alone CUT (which I have never purchased a pack, coins, tokens, whatever even once), and basing this review on gameplay and depth alone, I would give this a positive review. The gameplay is solid, they've improved what they said they would, with downfield blocking, smarter DB logic and receiver catching is actually 50/50 most of the time. I have no real gripes about the gameplay itself with CFB 27. The only things I wish it had was the logic from the mods that I have installed in it to make it much more customizable than default. I will always side with gamers upset about microtransactions, especially with EA in recent years, but this game as it sits is worth the buy. Once the season starts and they push out roster updates, gameplay fixes and UI and bug improvements, I can see this being one of the better football games that has come out in recent memory.
Genenuily such a slop game
No initial issues with gameplay, crashing, or general enjoyment with the game. As of late, game has been crashing to desktop near the end of every 3rd quarter. It's like you can set your watch to when it will go down. Frustrating, yet more of the same from this organization. Yikes.
For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake why the hell can EA after all these years just not make a game that at least doesn't crash. I get that they have a team full of people both guys and girls that both look like the guy who stole woody in toy story 2 and the game is going to be completely uninspired recycled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ every single year but at least make it not crash. And if you are going to have a crash make it to where its at least on launch or at the start of a new game not in the 4th ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quarter every single time are at the loading screen right after a big game. Jesus Christ you worthless sacks of diabeetus fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
EA can piss off with the micro transactions. Greedy company, should have known better. Shame they already ruined CFB 3 years into its return
ncaa 25/26 wasn't this trash when they first came out .
Like most US politicians, EA commits war crimes and has always gotten away with it. Its unfortunate my skull is hollow and my brain is like a deflated balloon, because I should not be investing so much time into this godforsaken game
peak ngl
EA needs to give players control of the game. An offline sandbox mode like Road to Glory or Dynasty should not feel like it's limiting. Do not waste your money.
EA sucks
