E-Trading Simulator: Prologue

Fun game. Cant wait til the game comes out to see what else it brings.

"E-Trading Simulator: Prologue" is not a game, it's an advertisement for an as-yet unreleased (and possibly may never be released) job simulator. It's not completely appropriate to try to review the game this is advertising, this is an advertisement, but it looks like a bunch of stock assets assembled around a really lame E-bay simulator with an added busywork box packing minigame. I can't really recommend advertisements to gamers. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. If you want like advertisements, you can see them for free on Youtube. No need to download them on Steam.
