I’ve followed the development of the game from the beginning, and can say the developers have done a wonderful job. From closed and open beta, launch, reworking and responding to community recommendations, to current development and additions to the game. Very impressed and looking forward to playing this game for many years to come.
best open world survival craft ive played to date
Overall, a great game and worth the money (Especially during a sale). The early and mid game are 11/10. It gets a bit grindy and repetetive towards the end game. But just playing up to that point is 100% worth it. Can't wait for more content.
It's the same piece of ♥♥♥♥ as Conan Exiles, but with even worse PvP. Or rather, no PvP at all. Players are constantly forced to choose between servers overrun with cheaters and servers where everyone plays PvE exclusively. Killing other players is completely pointless. You get absolutely nothing for it. Destroying enemy vehicles is just as pointless. Enemy players can replace them in no time, and you don't get any reward either. Endless daily quests might only seem enjoyable if you have a serious mental disorder. The combat system boils down to whoever grinds more daily quests. Skill means absolutely nothing. Did your armor break? No problem. Just spend another month farming the same reskinned dungeons so you can finally return to Deep Desert, where you'll either find nobody at all or a single terrified PvE player farming spice. Maxed everything out? Here's another update, another batch of brain-dead quests, and another half-assed dungeon slapped together in a hurry. Back on the hamster wheel for another few months. Bugs, lag, rubberbanding, endless fixes, and constant lies from the developers.
Failed to deliver on the vision it promised.
This is by far one of the worst games i have played in a long time. Its so broken on so many levels that Steam should be ashamed (but we know they have none) to allow this to be sold. I am not going to list all the problems, because its a waste of my time, just know that unless this is free and even its not worth playing in its state, and i don't care about single or anything they say about fixing as they are lairs and really already have your money. And by the time you figure out how broken it is, NO REFUND, so f-steam too!
So funny seeing reviews with hundreds of hours of active gameplay but there negative because the game doesn't have infinite content. I spent $30 on Dune and I have enjoyed all of it thoroughly. I know I will get to a point where I run out of content and move on. So far its far away.

If you're going to have a mechanic like the complete destruction of a character's equipment from a death to a sandworm, you're game can't just crash randomly while a player is on open sand.
