Même après 1000 heures, certains combats me résistent encore.
Excellent game! I've enjoyed the climb so far. Havent reached end game yet but the journey thus far is worth the price alone. If you like Dune lore/books the tie ins have been well executed.
Great survival game that offers crafting, building, and action.
Dune: Awakening is a complete triumph, masterfully conveying the severe and unforgiving beauty of Arrakis; the act of exploring the open desert, handling moisture, and constructing huge bases creates a survival experience that is endlessly engaging. The world-building is filled with genuine lore that will please every fan of science fiction. Above all else, the developers at Funcom should be given a huge thank-you for having made the game PvE-first: by designing the main experience around cooperative exploration and survival rather than imposing player conflict, we can enjoy the magnificence of the Dune universe without having to deal with griefing. Bless the Maker and his water.
you like puzzy this game for you, lot of real ♥♥♥♥♥ sin this game.
There is much peril. Exploration is enjoyable. Combat is not enjoyable.
THIS GAME IS SUPER COOL
This game gets progressively harder as you try to progress in the story, and there is no way to mitigate it-- not through using more resources, not by taking your time to build up to a higher level, nor through any other method. If you like a melee based challenge, then great this might be for you. But it's extremely unfriendly for both casual game play and ranged combat.
To put it bluntly - the game seems empty. Yes, I occasionally see other players but basically it feels like a single player experience, but I cannot tweak it to my liking. The idea is interesting and I do not agree that this is simply Conan in space - there is a difference. Still, the game lacks something special. I like Dune Universe (at least first 5 books - Chapterhouse is already wobbly) and I often think of it as an extension of Foundation universe by Isaac Azimov (Think Second Empire after Foundations went on, Bene Gesserit being the extension of Second Foundation and IX being the remnants of the First, and Tleilaxu is a version of Gaia, though I hated Gaia and mumbo-jumbo in the first place).
