Drift GEAR Racing Free

I had marginally higher hopes for this game than a lot of people would think. On the surface, the game doesn't look that bad, but after playing even for a couple of minutes your expectations will quickly be completely destroyed. The graphics for the game aren't terrible, even from a 2025 standpoint. I will admit that they certainly aren't the best graphics in the world, but they certainly aren't the worst I have seen. The mechanics however, are god awful. The handling for the vehicle that I played as (the Roadster iirc) was so bad to the point that I could barely drive the car around a corner without it crashing horrendously. Another problem is that when you try to reverse the car, the automatic transmission is abnormally slow for a racing game. I would be expecting instant transmission from 1st gear to Reverse, but in this case it takes at least 1 or 2 seconds. Another problem that this game faces is that the maps (Or should I say, map) is poorly designed. It is clearly a generic template taken from another game that has been rebranded and repurposed to fit this game. Also, the design of the track does not give the poor handling of the vehicles any favours due to the corners being incredibly sharp. Overall, I will not be recommending this game due to the poor design choices the developer decided to include, as well as the poor mechanics employed.
