Reviews
This game is overly complicated when it comes to setting up your team, equipment, and other elements before a battle. There is a team-saving feature, but it isn't efficient.

So fun and addicting. I found this game from a YouTube video by SuziPlays and It has hooked me.
Dragonheir: Silent Gods is a fantasy strategy RPG developed by SGRA Studio and published by Proxima Beta Pte. Limited. Blending open-world exploration, hero collection, tactical combat, and tabletop-inspired role-playing mechanics, the game attempts to deliver a large-scale adventure that feels closer to a traditional fantasy campaign than a typical mobile-style gacha experience. Its focus on player choice, world exploration, and strategic team building helps it stand out in a genre often dominated by repetitive progression loops and automated gameplay. The game's strongest feature is its expansive world. Rather than pushing players from one battle to the next, Dragonheir encourages curiosity through a landscape filled with quests, hidden rewards, environmental interactions, puzzles, and unexpected encounters. Exploration feels meaningful because players are regularly rewarded for venturing off the main path. The inclusion of dice-based events adds a unique tabletop flavor, making certain situations feel unpredictable and giving players the sensation of participating in a living fantasy adventure. This system injects variety into the experience and reinforces the game's role-playing identity. Combat revolves around assembling teams from a massive roster of heroes. Each character possesses unique abilities, elemental traits, and combat roles, creating countless possibilities for experimentation. Success often depends on understanding how different heroes complement one another rather than simply relying on raw power. Positioning, timing, and team synergy play important roles during challenging encounters, giving battles a strategic depth that rewards planning. While some encounters can eventually become routine, the overall combat design offers enough tactical flexibility to keep players engaged for a considerable amount of time. Character collection is naturally a major part of the experience. The game offers an impressive variety of heroes inspired by different races, cultures, and fantasy archetypes. Collecting and upgrading these characters creates a strong sense of progression, especially for players who enjoy optimizing team compositions. The visual design of the heroes is particularly impressive, with detailed character models and distinctive aesthetics that help the roster feel diverse. However, because new heroes are obtained through a summoning system, some players may find the random nature of character acquisition frustrating, especially when pursuing specific units. Presentation is another area where Dragonheir performs well. The game adopts a more Western fantasy-inspired visual style rather than relying on anime influences, helping it establish a distinct identity. Environments are richly detailed, from bustling settlements and mysterious forests to dangerous dungeons and battlefields. The atmospheric soundtrack complements the adventure, while voice work and story presentation help bring the world and its characters to life. Together, these elements create an immersive setting that supports the game's emphasis on exploration and storytelling. The narrative itself is ambitious, featuring political conflicts, ancient mysteries, divine powers, and numerous factions competing for influence. Story choices and branching scenarios provide players with opportunities to shape parts of their journey. While the writing may not always reach the depth of premium single-player RPGs, it succeeds in creating a world that feels large and worth exploring. The combination of narrative quests and optional content ensures there is usually something interesting to pursue beyond the main storyline. Dragonheir also benefits from regular updates, seasonal content, and additional gameplay modes designed to extend its longevity. Competitive and cooperative activities provide long-term goals for dedicated players, while social features encourage community interaction. These additions help maintain engagement beyond the initial campaign and give players reasons to continue developing their teams. The developers have also made adjustments to progression systems over time, demonstrating a willingness to respond to player feedback and refine the overall experience. Despite its many strengths, the game is not free from common free-to-play RPG shortcomings. Progression can become grind-heavy, particularly during later stages when upgrading heroes requires significant investment. Some activities eventually become repetitive, and players who dislike gacha mechanics may struggle with the game's monetization structure. Although strategic depth exists, certain battles can feel less engaging once optimal team setups have been established. These issues do not ruin the experience, but they prevent the game from reaching its full potential. Overall, Dragonheir: Silent Gods is an ambitious fantasy RPG that successfully combines exploration, tactical combat, role-playing elements, and hero collection into a surprisingly substantial package. Its expansive world, strong atmosphere, strategic gameplay systems, and impressive presentation make it one of the more noteworthy entries in the free-to-play RPG space. While its reliance on grinding and character summons may not appeal to every player, those who enjoy fantasy adventures with deep team-building mechanics will likely find a great deal to enjoy throughout its lengthy journey.
