Dragon's Dogma 2

800+ hours on ps5. 5 full restarts from scratch [this so far being my 6th here on pc] and i still love this game. Solid 7.5/10 would absolutely recommend. After switching from the playstation 5 to a decent pc this was the first game i picked up on steam with my only real complaint being that i cannot cross hire my old pawns. Still i do not mind starting over as DD2 gives me much to do and new ways to approach gameplay should i choose to. Having played and fully completed DD1 i find the world building and lore to be interesting albeit abit less intricate with the flow and feel of combat seeing a definitive improvement and with the dlc adding back the extra skill slots missing from the first, i expect that experience to become even more satisfying. [potential spoilers beyond this point] Ive probably spent too many hours in the character creator alone because of its depth and options then many more fiddling with my characters after obtaining the hair/fur dyes. say what you will about capcom they do CC quite well for me. Currently im working my way through the unmoored world again having fully explored the base story and having discovered 2 side quests i hadnt yet through my countless play throughs on my ps5. One being an event within the masquerade hall involving a golden staff thief that i simply hadnt discovered because i never went back to the hall wearing the finery before the coronation. Each new playthrough is exciting for me as someone that loves the grinds of leveling and collection especially as i still sometimes discover side quests i hadnt before. Dragon's Dogma is an endless cycle and i am most definitely trapped within it and loving every moment.

PS5で遊んでから、ちょっとこっちでごにょごにょしたいなと思い購入しました １．ストーリー 非常にわかりやすいストーリーです 個人的には可もなく不可もなくという感じ ２．アクション アクションRPGとしてはよくある様な感じですが、そのシンプルさ故に良いという感じですね 複雑なアクション、無駄に早いアクションを要求されるわけでもなく シンプルに剣を振って技を使って、弓矢で撃ってを行うゲームです ただ、そのアクションも職業によって千差万別 ファイターであれば盾を使いながら、アーチャーであれば特殊弓で相手を吹き飛ばし、ヘッドショットを狙うテクニカルな一面が メイジはひたすら味方をサポートして、防御魔法で盾張って、なんなら自分で相手を燃やす重厚タンクプレイ シーフは奥義をとってからは、もう爽快感の塊です ただ、アリズンだけはなんかこう・・・中途半端な印象ですが、各職の良いとこ取りって感じですね 個人的には奥義がメインになる職以外だと結構楽しいし、探索しやすい職って感じでした ３．ボリューム ストーリーを進めるだけならわりかしすぐ終わるって感じですね ただ、このゲームの醍醐味は何といっても冒険にあります あの村行ってからこの町よって、NPCとの旅イベントがあるならそれに付き添って、たまに襲撃してくる大型モンスターとの闘いが発生したかと思えば、道すがら助けを求めるNPCの姿があったり サブクエストもそれなりにあります まぁこういうゲームあるあるではありますが、ストーリーのみのプレイだとちょっと物足りないけど、ほかに手を伸ばしたり、ロールプレイキメながらやると、やることが無限にあるってタイプのゲームですね 何よりもレベルMAXにするまでが長き道って感じなので、そこを目的にしだすと終わらないです（笑） ４．バグ 今のところ遭遇してないので、私と同じか以上であれば確実に快適にプレイできますね 個人的には普通に良ゲーって感じです 10月が楽しみ・・・なんですが 10月って色々とゲームが発売されるので、ちょっと、どれを優先してプレイしようか迷ってる感じです 選択肢が多い故の贅沢な悩みですね（笑）

問題視されていた要素は6月と８月末の大型アップデートでほぼ改善されやっと製品版と言えるクオリティになるので、当時の不評を聞いて購入をやめた人・返品した人は値下げされた今または８月のアプデに合わせて買うのはアリだと思う ただ、魔物（敵性npc）の種類が少なく、モンハンでいうところの亜種枠でかさ増しされ物足りない感が否めない点が個人的には未だ気になっている。10月に配信予定の拡張コンテンツで新マップやハクスラ要素の他、新しい魔物の追加が発表されているので今はそれに期待するしかない

I just cant get into it. Not to mention the fact i got stuck in a rock wall somehow and had to restart from last save. It just seems half ass for a new game and for such a big price its very underwhelming. Devil Spire falls 2 is way better than this game. The fact it says open world but you really cant just wander off and do whatever is really annoying. Its mostly long winding roads up and down cliffs and around water the game pretty much directs you where to go. NO MOUNTS which is really freaking stupid and makes no sense with how pathetic the fast travel is. The same enemies OVER AND OVER its just so bad. They were so lazy and didnt want to do any water stuff so they put some crap in the water that kills you. Way to doge those mechanics!

this is not a deep story, it is a servicable story. what makes the game shine is the sense of adventure. you will meet other people just doing their thing in the world, discover lots of treasure in strange places. and the combat. the combat is fantastic. your AI companions will make dumb decisions, but those dumb decisions feel more like personality rather than "stupid bots" one pawn i know loves to finish fights by picking up rocks and smashing the enemies beneath the rocks. NO EXCEPTIONS no matter how impractical, or rediculous that may be. and this is exactly the sort of thing that is an individual quirk / mission, not just a strange "dumb bot" moment. the other pawns dont do this, if i replace that pawn, the new one does not do this. it's just that one. get to know your pawns and the people of the world. and enjoy the ride.

This game is so good. i slept on it for a long time bc of bad reviews. glad it went on sale and i finally tried it. best game ive played in so long. buy this game!!!
