Honestly, having purchased the most expensive edition, I feel a little taken advantage of by Bandai. The reason for this feeling is the same one already pointed out by other buyers: considering the higher price I paid compared to the base edition, I find the quality of the various character packs included in the Season Pass to be quite underwhelming. To me, it feels as though Bandai wanted to formally fulfill its promise of providing four character packs with the Season Pass, without putting the same emphasis on the quality and value of those packs. The fact that the recent Super Limit-Breaking Neo pack was excluded from the Season Pass was kind of the straw that broke the camel’s back. Perhaps I expected too much from Bandai, having been spoiled by the Season Passes offered with the Borderlands series, and I simply wasn't expecting this kind of treatment. But it is what it is.
Making us pay extra for a dlc that should've been in the base game is crazy.

My laptop is not the best rig to play this game, even though my love for the franchise made me buy it to play it in low settings, LOVED the gameplay even when the game felt half baked. Looking for better performance, I decided to buy the Ultimate Edition on my PS5 thinking it was the complete version of the game. Now the Ultimate Edition is delisted and I must pay even more for the NEO DLC, and If I'm not wrong a METEOR DLC will be out in the future so don't be surprised if the Legendary edition is delisted as well. I won't believe in Ultimate Editions anymore, I feel like I've been duped. I love the game but I feel I gave this company enough money already, I'm just tired of incomplete games at full price and even more, cause games cost more than a $100 bucks nowadays. I can't believe a fighting game cost even more than the deluxe edition of GTAVI... If you are gonna get Sparking Zero, grab it on sale.
The game itself is alright. i'm not too big of a fan on how they did the story mode but i still played through and beat all of it. i payed for the ultimate edition understanding that all future dlc's would be included as they released. the newest one was not and is 35$. they also went as far as to delist the ultimate edition and season pass so we can't even look it over. im extremely disappointed in bandai namco. its a shame as i was excited for the new dbz game but if this is how they treat their player base then im not buying anymore dbz games
The game is pretty good, especially if you're a dragon ball fan, but I cannot in good faith praise a game that lowers it's cost after releasing a 35 dollar DLC, and doesn't compensate it's players who had purchased it before the price lowering. It's insanely predatory, and genuinely could just be considered a scam. If you bought the game at full price, and the season pass, and then this dlc, that is a whopping 140 dollars spent on a silly dragon ball fighter where most of the characters you purchase play the same. They knew this game would do well, and they knew how to milk every dollar from it's fans. I typically don't advocate it, but ♥♥♥♥ this company and their absurdly scummy practices, so... Yar har, fiddle dee dee...
