Not built for PC. Not worth playing
I have played all other Dragon Age games and I would definitely recommend this one as well. I had such a good time, I loved exploring and all of the characters. I've seen a lot of comments about certain characters arch's, but you don't have to engage in it, and also comments saying that you couldn't be an "evil" character. But wouldn't that then mess with the story? Which I, again, loved. I'd seen countless people hating on the writing but it felt the same as any other game. I enjoyed it, certain ones made me cry and there were twists I did not expect. I do agree that imported world state seems to have little impact but I guess only so much can be done. It didn't make me enjoy it any less. I chose Emmerich as my romance and it was very sweet and engaging. I really did enjoy this game. I don't know if I'll replay it but, then again, I played all the other's to completion and then never again so maybe that's just how I play these. They're a one time captivating story with characters I fell in love with and felt like I wanted to do everything I could to save.
i think this game was unjustly hated by everyone tbh. Is it the perfect dragon age game? no. is it the best one in the series? no. is it fun? yes! is it a good story that's engaging? yes! yes sometimes the writing is a bit "cringe" but that's just kinda dragon age for ya. It has it's moments of goofy ass dialogue that could have been done better. But after DAI so many players wanted to bring back the silly, they loved Hawke and their sass. So they did... and fans still complained... I just don't think anyone will be happy with any Dragon Age game at this point and it sucks. I love the series and I truly think DAV was a lot of fun. it sucks EA throttled the team so much on their creativity and limited them more on what they could do, but they truly made a beautiful game with all they could. The graphics are absolutely stunning, it has some of the most gorgeous cutscenes I have EVER seen in a game with a customizable character! Rook is SO expressive!! I adore the hair movement and I love the Male British voice a LOT I do recommend this game, just don't go into it expecting the best Dragon Age game to ever exist. Because quite frankly that will just never exist, everyone wants something different. They brought back a lot of DA2's charm and fun, which I adore. It has a LOT of love put into it with the small details (like all the unique dialogue you get depending on your background) if you played it a on launch and hated it, i say give it another shot. Just try. It's a lot of fun and the combat is awesome
This game is horrible and it stresses me out
A great RPG in classic Dragon Age style. If you've liked other games in this franchise, this one's a no-brainer. If you're new to Dragon Age, this is a great spot to jump in. Positives: - Great class customization, where you get to choose a class archetype (Mage / Rogue / Warrior). From there, you get to choose specific abilities and traits through a skill tree that allows you to play exactly how you'd like. I'm playing a Rogue and specializing in dual wielding melee attacks, but there's also a specialization focused on bows and traps/explosives. And I'm free to unlock traits in any combination (I've picked up some bow traits to help out with my range damage) - Great story. As with all DA games, the storyline is fantastic. It provides a look into a world that feels alive. Everywhere seems to be in disarray and there's honestly very few places in this world that could be considered "good" places to live, but that's pretty standard for the World of Thedas. It really is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. But the choices you make and actions you take really feel like they're woven into this narrative and it feels like you're fighting for a better world. - Graphics are beautiful - Combat is fluid and dynamic. It's challenging combat with a lot of cool unique ways to approach every fight, whether that's head-on or through the use of expert combo weaving utilizing your companions Cons: - The romance in this game isn't quite as in depth as I'd like. Maybe I haven't dove deep enough yet, but things feel so... linear. I'd love quests or storylines tied to my romancing of my companions, and I'd love to see a little more uniqueness to it too. Everything just feels so... flat. I don't even have to try to romance anyone, I just have to pick the flirty dialogue option often enough and it just happens. I made myself look hot, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ no one's THAT hot. - Along with that, more nudity is also kind of expected here. I'm also coming from Baldurs Gate where things are much more explicit, but in a world with slavery and tyranny and blood cults, showing a bit more intimacy or nudity shouldn't be so controversial. I saw a man squeezed to death by thorny vines until he burst into blood and sinew. An asscheek isn't going to shock me. - I created my character with a name, but I have yet to see that name pop up anywhere after 20 hrs of gameplay. I'm just called Rook (which I understand from a development/voice acting point of view). I'd love to at least see letters addressed to me, or have some way to feel like my character's identity matters beyond the cardboard cutout "you're the protagonist." There's a few dialogue options specific to my faction chosen at character creation, but that's about it and they typically aren't too exciting either -- and they don't unlock any unique experiences either, from what I've seen. For a game where so many of my choices are supposed to matter
Minrathous vs Treviso, for example
it feels like the storyline is static and already determined, and I'm just going through the motions. I'd love to see more branching storylines to give me a unique experience every time I play. Or at least to make it feel like I'm actually influencing the story beyond surface-level "this companion is a little upset with me but they'll get over it" kind of stuff. Overall, this is a fantastic game and I can't wait to keep playing more. But I do think this franchise is still stuck in the past in many aspects of development. I hope the next installment in this franchise will implement some features that have become standard in modern RPGs.
./././. so lame. Ständig ladebildschirme, Schläuche und blöde Markierungen.... Da muss man echt Langeweile haben
Хороша гра! З нюансами, але хороша. В першу чергу в неї потрібно зіграти, щоб завершити історію, яка почалась ще в Origins. І, повірте мені, цій грі є чим доповнити лор Dragon Age!
I am a big fan of the dragon age franchise, I've played all the games, read the comics and novels, and watched the netflix anime. Now does this game live up to the entirety of the series? No. That is honestly pretty easy to say because while it will acknowledge the events of Inquisition it fails to go further and take into account events of Dragon Age Origins and 2, which comes off as weird when characters from those games pop up. That being said, it still takes its time to refer to other media such as the novels and comics, the cast of characters are enjoyable, and the gameplay is good. I think it will let you down as a super fan or someone whose been awaiting for a whole super interconnective universe, but its still a good time.
если закрыть глаза на минусы данная игра имеет не плохой сюжет для фанатов серии вполне подойдет
