Over all maybe 5,5/10 experience, I suspect that none of the people who made the original games work here anymore and it shows. I did finish it, but the whole story resolution was a letdown. Definitely a heavy discount purchase option. Great music, probably the best part of the game Encounters with Solas were some of the best scenes in the game I dont mind the big lore expansion and changes they made Landscapes were pretty, but character design looks super cartoony?? much worse than the previous games There was not nearly enough time spent with companions and not alot of character development was going on there. Everyone kinda just clapped each other's backs and I didn't care for most of them whatsoever. The whole Tash arc really disrupted any remaining immersion this game had....maybe if the writing and dialog was better it could have been digestible, but there have been much better diversity characters in the previous games who weren't so painfully annoying. If I was a person from the community, I'd be pissed off at this representation :D
It's pretty enjoyable IF you don't play it as a direct Dragon Age game. More like.. something set in the same world. Definitely not on the same level as the previous games. Kinda sad that you can FEEL the potential this game had and the little bits of it that remain as mere ghosts of what could have been. It's certainly pretty tho
Cool!
Great game, I absolutely love it to pieces, especially the Emmrich romance path, but I do wish it was more like traditional DA games when it comes to choice-making.
'Veilguard' is easy to pick up, even for someone previously unfamiliar with the series, is full of endearing characters, has an intriguing plot, and has very satisfying combat mechanics.
This has been one of the most fun single player experences I have played through in a bit. This game was recommended to me over their representation of trans/ nonbinary storylines. But this game is more than the "woke" representation. The story is great and each charcater is well written with lovely personalities.
Gameplay agréablement nerveux.
