Wow! What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.... Easily one of the G.O.A.T. rpgs! This game is full of soul and charm while delivering on story, characters, choices matter, a great soundtrack, a satisfying mix of real time and pausing combat and a well thought out world. You probably are going to want to download some mods to enhance your experience further and the one that fixes crashing. This is a must play!

Un grand classique que j'avais fais il y'a des années sur xbox, mais qui hélas ne fonctionne tout bonnement pas en 2026. Le jeu crash quasi systématiquement lorsqu'on tente de charger une sauvegarde, et j'ai du passer plus de temps à essayer de le faire fonctionner qu'a jouer réellement. Lorsqu'enfin on parvient à jouer, les textures ne chargent pas et on doit faire face à un jeu intégralement en anglais. Il doit bien exister des patchs FR mais c'est lunaire de devoir faire tant d'effort juste pour accéder à quelque chose qui était présent dans le jeu de base en 2009. Tant que cela n'a pas été corrigé, je ne peux pas recommander ce jeu, qui pourtant est encore à ce jour une valeur sur du RPG. Vraiment triste.

I've seen a lot of reviews about this being "unplayable," and I just want to give my honest experience having played this version for about 30 hours now, without performance mods. Yes, it crashes. It some parts of the game more than others. I was fine for about my first 3 hours, then I had my first crash. In the first "village" area of Lothering, it happened every 20 minutes. The 'danger zones' tend to be any transition between areas. However, I haven't noticed any bugs in the game. There's nothing that makes the game unplayable. It's just the crashes. So IMO, if you're okay with quicksaving every few minutes, especially around transitions, it's fine. That being said, I can understand being annoyed with the situation if you paid full price. I got it on sale for $2.99, and if you can get it at a similar discount, it's definitely worth it. This is a classic RPG, the game and the story itself is brilliant, I don't think there's any debate about that.
