I loved Mutant Chronicles. However, this game is emblematic of what the brand has undergone because of incompetence of those who, from time to time, has acquired the rights. We'll start from the aesthetic side. The attempt to modernize the brand has only led to a product that has lost his identity. The design of the field and cards is impersonal, something that you can find in any other game. And it's not even that good to overshadow this matter. The retro variants option is available only in the section where you can view your collection and edit your decks, but not ingame (ludicrous). The artworks of the new cards (about which I don't express myself) seems out of context. There are even frames taken from the movie (orrible as well). They didn't even bother to create new appropriate artworks... Let's move to the substance. You start with few cards, you can create two theme decks but you cannot even choose which factions. If at least you'd earn cards fairly quickly (those common at least, I'm not saying rare ones). No way! You have to play matches after matches with the same decks, and if you don't find human opponents (I still haven't found any), you got to face the AI that is simply ridicolous. Therefore, matches aren't even funny by accident! Daily missions are TOTALLY random. This means that you can get missions that involve play X warriors of a given faction that you don't own yet. And we're not talking about one mission. Out of a dozen that I've gotten there hasn't been one That I could accomplish... The last matches I played (before I gave up), moreover, I didn't get warriors at all. I found myself losing matches with 30 unspent destiny points in my pocket and no warriors drawn. With great regret, I recommend you to stay far away from this game. Indeed, my advice is to steer clear of this brand. A brand with massive potential never slightest properly exploited!
