Old but gold!
Very good Christian game.
even though its 10 years old its still a masterpiece
Este juego es impresionante, no solo revive la saga DOOM si no que nos lleva a una aventura espectacular, nueva y emocionante, recalco los momentos de frenetismo con ese heavy metal que despeja el alma, simplemente es arte este juegazo.
(i have this game on the PS4 also. ive mainly played it there.) Great reboot of a classic FPS game. my only real complaint is that it does take up a lot of storage (over 68 Gigs worth). other than that this is a great game. its everything the original Doom games and 64 did right with a few bonus bells and whistles for the modern day. the Glory Kill system is absolutely a joy to use and really satisfying (especially on a particularly annoying enemy). the upgrades add more to the weapons and suit to help you out. you can in theory get most if not all the upgrades if you know where to look for them in one playthrough which is always a good thing (nothing more annoying than being locked out of a certain upgrade just for going down a different route). the upgrades add some really useful alt fires as well as useful QoL updates to the weapons. speaking of the weapons theyre all great to use and fun in their own rights. i do wish the chainsaw had an upgrade or two though since you can only use it a few times before needing more fuel and it only really works on smaller/medium enemies. thats a bit annoying since that and Glory Kills are how you get health and ammo and sometimes you kill a guy before you get a chance to Glory Kill him. theres a level editor mode which isnt in the Switch version. cool idea but not really utilized the way that i think they thought it was gonna be. still its always cool when games let you make your own levels and stuff. the multiplayer is more or less dead nowadays but the main reason you get this is for the campaign story mode. its the true follow up to Doom 64 (yeah Doom 3 doesnt exist). they even went back to Doom 64 and added in more levels to link it to this game. really i cant say any more about it. apart from the large storage requirements the only real downside i can think of is depending on what you want out of a Doom game this one does have a tendency to focus a bit much on story (not to a detrimental degree but certainly to a noticeable one (and yes it gets more involved in Eternal and Dark Ages) ). other than that its just a really fun game thats a great update to the classic Doom formula. all i can really say is i hope whoevers left at ID finaly can make a proper new Quake game (they did Wolfenstein, they did Doom, wheres Quake?).
I played this game on PS4 back when it launched and it was amazing, but after a decade I decided to get into it again after playing TDA DLC to my surprise the performance of this game on my PC is abysmal, and it has something to do with the CPU being dragged down forced by something caused by the game. no matter the configuration in game and on my PC the CPU seems to be locked in a queue state of 29ms while my GPU is at 0.69ms, I have tried to find a fix but I'm not wasting time neither doing sketchy stuff in my PC setting for a "try" to fix this game. new vegas doesn't even compare to the stuff I had to do to pray it runs properly. im sorry slayer, but not like this...
