DOOM

This game swaggered into a shooter game landscape full of Gears knockoffs and reminded everyone that shooters can actually be good games. Every aspect of this game is masterfully designed. The sound effects occupying the same register as the soundtrack elevates the horror aspect. The color-coded pickups are clear and efficient communication. Each enemy not only has unique shades and textures to tell them apart when you can see them, but also has a unique silhouette and animations to tell them apart when they're obscured. This is the kind of foundational stuff that SO many games forget about in favor of just trying to be a tech demo or a social media platform or digital storefront or even a casino in disguise. The people who made this game actually GAVE a crap. A decade later, that's even rarer in mainstream games than when this one first released.

No me ha gustado tanto por la caza de secretos porque he tenido que buscar guías como la de Decino, pero con lo que he jugado y con la música, me he quedado a gusto. Y otra crítica, el lanzamisiles apesta, el resto de armas, salvo la pistola, crema. Puede que me haya pasado el 9X%, pero me he quedado a gusto.

Its all that, an amazing game with great glory kills and fighting and it all just feels so good. Its lacking in certain spaces but when DOOM Eternal exists then there's no need to complain

Good game that still holds up to present day. Very satisfying and surprisingly well voice acted. Only complaint is the main campaign was slightly slow at some parts.
