Dominus Galaxia has good mechanics, UI is great, customization is flexible. The only thing missing is to fill out the placeholder artwork. Great little take on Master of Orion. I like it better pace-wise and aesthetically than Remnants of the Precursors. I am looking forward to full release so I can finally pay the devs for the hours of entertainment I've enjoyed.
I first started playing the game several years ago, but stopped because it was impossible - the AI simply had too many resources compared to me. I started again recently because I thought its updates my have made it better. I started with the tutorial, but even though I have a MUCH better computer now, it was lagging in the tutorial! Not serious lag, but there's no way I'm playing a game that lags when only 1 planet and a handful of ships are involved.

Cant say good or badly its seems still not finished yep but its a nice one to who really enjoys playing this type of one. >_<
a simple and straight forward 4x game that does not take a lot of work. easily repeatable play allows for a lot of casual gaming
Viel zu stark vereinfacht und leider auch unfertig.
Game runs great, blueprints are a bit hard to understand and use and there should be a feature to turn on or off pirates and it would be fun to play as the pirates. Factions do not change their name. I do have a lot of fun playing it.
Simply a GREAT game that will always keep you going just one more turn!
This is a well-designed MOO-like with content for two evenings. It doesn't force you to do too much tedious busywork and you can still have some mildly interesting decisions setting up your economy. In its current state it's not super atmospheric, pretty barebones. There's as far as I can tell nothing super interesting to do in the tactical space battles or ship designer if that's what you're looking for, but I'm not super good at powergaming so it could be that the possibilities just escaped me. I'd recommend a crowded galaxy, that way you can have a small early war and then a medium one. There's no real reason as far as I can tell to stick around for the full galaxy conquest after that but until then it's fun. Given that it's as of this writing free I would come down in favor of giving it a shot if you want to quickly scratch that MOO itch.
Loads of fun if you liked early 4X games.
It's pretty fun as it is and can only get better(usually) if it gets finished.
