Die Young: Prologue narrates events that occurred a few hours before the main story of Die Young. You play as Nehir, a field agent on a mission to kill Brother No.1. The mission failed and now you have only one desperate attempt to reach the extraction point.

- Decent short game - Game play/combat/controls sometimes feels very janky and many animations are not very good. - Got nice amount of places to explore and stuff to find in this small harbor area. stupidly all places where you can jump example is mostly marked with yellow sheet so too much babysitting and guiding player like many newer games in my opinion. - Gun selection is very poor only melee or crossbow. - Feels me little bit cold but this is only prologue so i hope and think that main version is better and wider, but its still nice to play through and i want to play the main game too after that sometime so 6/10 on this.

Clever games curator review: 7/10. Alternates between being an adventure game, FPS-shooter, and FPS-stealth. All set in a world that is often quite open compared to typical FPS corridor-based shooters. Compared to many FPS games you really do have a sense of agency, with lots of ways to approach challenges, resources to manage that might change how you would proceed, etcetera. It starts out in an almost completely linear sewer system, which is sort of necessary in order to give you a chance to experience the game in the right order for the tutorial to work. Then you end up in a cliffside enemy base that you can approach and infiltrate in almost any order. This cliffside portion is the majority of gameplay and is pretty great. The final area is a boss battle that is quite punishing, especially if you don’t know to prepare for it, and how to prepare for it. The game gives you a few hints about what preparation might be useful, but it’s easy to ignore. This would be somewhat forgivable if the game had a good save system. However, it does not. It’s a weird sort of checkpoint approach where the first time you enter a region your complete game state is saved. But there’s no warning that you’re about to have your state saved like that, and you only get that save the first time you enter that area. It’s pretty easy to screw yourself over because the game is fairly unforgiving, with death coming in only a few seconds if you don’t successfully avoid an enemy or kill them quickly enough. You can load previous saves, but because the checkpoints are kind of random and poorly labeled in the menu it’s kind of hard to figure out what’s what. This means that there is more replaying and grinding to get the perfect 15‑second segment of what you’re trying to do than is really ideal. That said, for a free game, it’s quite enjoyable. If it weren’t for some of the pain points described above it would probably only be 2-3 hours of content. I got 5 hours out of it, but at least 45 minutes of that was not great. I guess you have to decide what your time is worth versus your desire to play something free. Graphically it’s an Unreal 4 game, i.e., a significant upgrade over Unreal 5. I don’t know why developers persist in using Unreal 5 when there’s such a clear upgrade path to a better visual experience. Obviously this is a bit of a tongue‑in‑cheek statement, but I really don’t think Unreal 5’s benefits remotely outweigh the downsides. I wish there was an Unreal 4 ½ that brought a little bit of the fidelity improvements of Unreal 5 back to the rock‑solid Unreal 4 experience. Epic really did lose their way with that generational jump. This game is supposed to be an advertisement for the Die Young game. I haven’t tried it, but it definitely leaves me somewhat interested. However, it’s unclear how similar the two really are based on the description. And I think that far from being an advertisement it’s actually a pretty complete experience on its own.
This is a best game ever. zpracování je Užasný na to jak stara je to hra je mnohem lepší než většina jiných her dekuji za super zážitek.
Neat!
Good indie-stealth-parcour-crafting-action-adventure with interesting setting and nice graphics. This short prologue makes me looking forward to the main game.
A végén a bossharc, a hab a tortán! Egy alapvetően lopakodós játékban, egy boss harc….. Aha…..
