I have put more hours into this game then any other game by far, and the hack takes care of a lot of little things that are minor annoyances.
This should, in my opinion, be part of the core game xD Right now? I can't play without it, it's insanity not to!
For a new player (like me), this has a ton of qol fixes for little mistakes, which are frequent while climbing the very steep learning curve of DF. Veterans consistently recommend it in forums, as well.

Значительно расширяет интерфейс Dwarf Fortress, улучшает производительность игры и добавляет чит-команды. Must have.
a must have
Un complemento perfecto para jugar DF
I've been playing this game on and off for almost 2 decades and it just keeps getting better. I love how I can get lost decorating the fortress and my dorfs just have their own drama. I hope I get to play this game in the afterlife.
this is how you play dwarf fortress
Dwarf Fortress is an amazing game, DFHack makes it playable!
Thanks to DFHack (particularly the Lua mod functionality) I can finally fix all of the poor UI design choices that Toady/Kitfox made with DF Premium. The vanilla Prepare Carefully embark screen is so bad that 6 out of 10 of my forts die before they even get started because I simply don't have the pain tolerance to endure the hundreds to thousands of rapid mouse clicks needed to set up my embark item list properly. Used to use Autohotkey scripts to help me out, but it was still annoying as hell. Well, thanks to DFHack Lua mods, I can now throw together a script in one hour that adds revolutionary, never-seen-before QoL features, like... using your keyboard to enter a number, instead of having to click a button 500 times. Thanks, DFHack!
