Deviant Dungeon, developed by Miel and published by Cherry Kiss Games, is an erotic visual novel that attempts to merge elements of fantasy adventure with adult storytelling. It presents itself as a hybrid between a dungeon-crawling scenario and a narrative-driven experience, yet in practice, it functions far more as a visual novel than as an interactive game. The title fits comfortably within Cherry Kiss Games’ catalog of localized adult visual novels, which tend to favor colorful anime-inspired aesthetics, simple structures, and an unapologetically indulgent tone. Deviant Dungeon continues this tradition, offering players a compact, sensual story set in a fantasy world where seduction, combat, and humor coexist in equal measure. It doesn’t strive for narrative depth or mechanical complexity but instead delivers a short, provocative experience built around the art and erotic atmosphere that define its genre. The story takes place in a medieval fantasy setting filled with monsters, magic, and danger, following a protagonist whose journey leads into the titular dungeon. As the narrative unfolds, the focus quickly shifts from the premise of adventure to the encounters that drive the erotic content. The dungeon setting becomes a loose framing device, a backdrop against which the game’s adult scenes and character interactions play out. Dialogue-heavy storytelling dominates, and the pacing is dictated by conversations, internal monologues, and transitions between scenes. The writing is straightforward, leaning heavily into genre clichés, but it maintains a lighthearted tone that avoids becoming too serious or self-indulgent. What little world-building exists serves primarily to support the erotic tone, using familiar tropes of fantasy heroines, magical powers, and forbidden desires. It is not a story designed to surprise or challenge expectations, but one that provides a comfortable, if predictable, rhythm for fans of adult-oriented visual fiction. Visually, Deviant Dungeon delivers exactly what its target audience expects. The art style follows the clean, colorful conventions of Japanese-inspired erotic games, with expressive character portraits and well-drawn CG scenes that form the centerpiece of the experience. Each character design is crafted with care, emphasizing allure and personality through costume and body language. The backgrounds are simple and functional, focusing attention on the characters and their interactions rather than on the environments. The transitions between scenes are smooth, and the visual layout keeps the player’s attention on the dialogue and artwork. For those who come to the game seeking aesthetic enjoyment rather than innovation, the presentation succeeds. It maintains a level of polish consistent with other Cherry Kiss titles—competent, bright, and appealing within its niche, even if not visually ambitious. Gameplay elements exist primarily as light interaction between story segments rather than as full-fledged mechanics. While the title suggests dungeon exploration, the “dungeon” aspect is mostly thematic. There are few decisions or branching routes, and the progression is largely linear. Players advance through the story by clicking through text and occasionally making simple choices that influence minor variations in dialogue or tone. There are no intricate systems, combat encounters, or puzzles to solve—this is a visual novel through and through. For some, this simplicity is a benefit, as it allows the story and art to take center stage without interruption. For others expecting something closer to a traditional dungeon adventure, the lack of interactivity may come as a disappointment. The title’s marketing implies a blend of genres that doesn’t fully materialize in the gameplay, leading to an experience that feels more like an illustrated story than a game. The erotic content is, unsurprisingly, the primary focus and the reason most players seek out Deviant Dungeon. The adult scenes are explicit, detailed, and consistent with the tone of the narrative, presented with both visual flair and suggestive writing. These sequences are the main reward for progression and are spaced evenly throughout the story to maintain engagement. The developers show confidence in the material—they do not hide or downplay the eroticism, instead embracing it as the centerpiece of the experience. Whether or not this appeals depends entirely on the player’s comfort with adult content and their expectations for such titles. As an erotic visual novel, Deviant Dungeon delivers what it promises: an accessible, fantasy-themed adventure punctuated by intimate scenes that cater to its specific audience. Technically, the game performs well for what it is. It has modest system requirements, quick load times, and a simple interface that makes it easy to navigate. The inclusion of Steam achievements and trading cards adds a light layer of engagement for completionists, though the game’s short length means these are quickly earned. Localization quality is solid, with clear, natural-sounding English dialogue and minimal grammatical errors—a significant improvement compared to earlier adult localizations of similar titles. Cherry Kiss Games has also demonstrated a commitment to accessibility by adding multilingual options, including Spanish translation, allowing a wider audience to experience the game. While these technical and accessibility choices do not fundamentally alter the gameplay, they reflect an attention to presentation that helps elevate the overall polish. Where Deviant Dungeon falters is in its brevity and lack of replay value. The story can be completed in a few hours, and with limited branching paths, there is little incentive to revisit it once the main scenes have been viewed. The experience is self-contained and finite, offering satisfaction in the moment but leaving little room for discovery afterward. Its structure feels more like a short story than a novel—coherent and neatly wrapped, but lacking the kind of depth or variety that could sustain longer engagement. This is not necessarily a flaw for players who view the game as a one-sitting experience, but it underscores its position as a niche product aimed at a specific audience rather than a broad gaming market. Ultimately, Deviant Dungeon achieves what it sets out to do: provide a visually appealing, erotic fantasy packaged as a short, interactive story. It is not a complex or groundbreaking game, but it doesn’t pretend to be one. Its success lies in its consistency—its art is attractive, its tone self-assured, and its pacing tight enough to keep the experience from overstaying its welcome. It will not appeal to those looking for meaningful gameplay or deep storytelling, but for fans of adult visual novels and anime-style fantasy, it offers a satisfying diversion. In that respect, it stands as a representative example of Cherry Kiss Games’ approach to the genre: focused, polished enough, and entirely comfortable in its own sensual absurdity. Rating: 6/10

I love the art style, the characters are well written and the scenes are done very well, but they're basically just given to you, there's little to no effort/work involved to obtain anything so you know exactly what you're getting when you get into this one.

Meaningless light novel, with a few mosaic NSFW scenes. Good voice acting but censorship ruins any chance of this game being worth it. For 12 dollars the expectation should be good animations and no censorship.
全語音,但是劇情文本略遭,建議特價入手. 有特殊的懷孕劇情,相當重口,不喜勿入.
