I literally hated this game. Never played it before, and trying it out for the first time in 2026, it was super overwhelming, overstimulating, and the game has no clear direction of how to do anything. You can't comprehend what is, and isn't the main campaign. No clear indication of what to do, how to do, and when to do. Took about 30 minutes to figure out how to disband a fireteam or whatever they call a party, just to do a campaign quest that was solo. I would NOT recommend this game to anyone that is new to it. I feel like the game is now in a stage where the tutorial is vague, and expects players to know how to do anything in the game.
Enjoying yourselves, Bongo? It's worth knowing the cataclysmic damage you are responsible for. Do not fool yourselves. This game was not simply a swift cash-grab project of some pathetic blue/pink-haired bunch of Junipers. This franchise was built by the developers of eld. Within this game there was an entire universe. A universe that stretched far outside the simple gameplay. Made possible by true artists - as opposed to the talentless hacks you've been hiring for the last six years. Magnificent, wasn't it? A world that lived and expanded and evolved beyond its original design. A world we loved for years, filled with characters we used to cherish. We knew that were this franchise to fall into the wrong hands, the entire universe of Destiny would be utterly doomed. Yet some fools continued to believe that you lot were anything other than 'the wrong hands'. You were not. You now face our judgement. May it extend eternally. P.S. Remember your own 'pinnacle of creativity' back in Lightfail? "The uglier they are, the harder they fall".

Man I miss the golden age of destiny
Something is really funny to me, about the fact that the one time Destiny 2 feels accessible to a new player is when they put it in maintenance mode. If you were ever on the fence about this game and it seemed impossible to get into, this is probably the best time to do it. Fun gameplay with things to do pretty much everywhere. I like the amount of exploration available. No more stress over getting the most I can out of the current experience before the next experience begins. No more confusion of what to buy and what you will still be missing after buying what you see on the steam store page. (The answer to this question was everything, and then the keys - something that is now taken care of by the Collection bundle) Could do with a bit more guidance to the first available campaign (After finishing tutorial -> Go to your quests -> The past -> Legacy: Shadowkeep)
Bungie decided after the game is dead to throw one more FU at me. They decided to ban my account for some unknown reason. I've never cheated nor have ever needed to. I have over 2k hours on steam another 1k on Playstation. I loved this game but now I can never play this game ever again. Thanks for being absolute morons and losers Bungie. Really appreciate it
Thanks for the useless 150 GB shortcut. TAPIR An official decision or comment from Bungie regarding a fix for the TAPIR error (related to blocks and access issues from Russia) is not expected, as the studio has discontinued support for the game in the region, effectively blocking access for Russian players. What is known about the error: Cause: The TAPIR error indicates a connection failure to servers, but for Russian users, it is a consequence of regional restrictions and blocks imposed by the developers, which began in the fall of 2025. Any sanctions are illegal and immoral in nature, but an economic blockade is completely legal. I urge everyone to declare an economic blockade on Bungie and not buy anything from them until they go bankrupt, because you could be the next one they block. Long live the merciless and ruthless rebellion, and Bungie will be reduced to poverty and oblivion!!!
Bought The Collection at 90% discount, happy to be able to play a whole bunch of stuff. Beautiful visuals, despite the age. The gameplay is a lot of fun, but gets grindy at some point (when you've played it all). Sadly, a lot of earlier content is missing (vaulted) so I had to watch youtube to understand the plot. Still fun.
keep grinding like the dog in heat who doesnt get a hole so he humps an thing he can grab
