We Want Destiny 3
would have loved it more if pete parson got more cars out of the franchise
They took away my stuff from D1, then they vaulted the DLCs and never bought them back, now the game is done for
A franchise with endless possibilities squandered by corporate greed and board members who are out of touch with the audience they have captured. Amazing memories were created because of this game, ultimately it was still killed out of the blue, Sony and Bungie hopefully have no further success in their game development endeavors. Go spend your time wisely instead of wasting it on a game that has died.
Just finished the tutorial, what do I do next? the game doesn't tell me what to do..
The reality is: this game is impossible to get into if you aren't already neck deep. The game was developed over years in a way that you are missing astoundingly large amounts of content. I have over 2000 hours between console and PC and I still missed large chunks due to time away from the game for seasons. I wish it was simple, as the game is in the best state its been in for YEARS, but that's just because nothing is time-gated anymore due to the development being shut down. like 70% of the storyline of the game is unplayable you jump story wise years because seasonal content progressed major story points and it was removed completely each year. nothing is presented very orderly, so you could easily play the most recent story while trying to play the oldest. this game died due to terrible UI decisions and management hyperfixating on things to retain seconds per play session that eventually burned out all the decade + long players. game is incredibly fun, with the most enjoyable gunplay i've experienced. sad its over.
1200hrs and I can finally rest.
After 10,000+ hours on this account alone, Destiny 2 is easily the most played game of my life. I’ve been playing on this account since 2021, and I’ve done pretty much everything the game has to offer. Raids, dungeons, Trials, triumphs, and just about every kind of PvE content. Most of my best memories came from playing with friends I already knew, but I also always enjoyed helping newer players whenever I could. Destiny 2 was never a perfect game. There were plenty of bad decisions over the years and moments where it was frustrating to be a player. But none of that can erase the amount of fun I had or the memories I made along the way. Even after doing pretty much everything I wanted to do, I still find myself coming back from time to time, even if it’s just to finish some random thing I don’t really need. It’s rare for a game to stay with you for this many years and become such a big part of your life. Seeing Destiny 2 where it is now genuinely makes me sad. No matter what happens from here, I’ll always be grateful for all the time I’ve spent with this game. It will always have a special place in my heart.
10 years down the drain. it was fun while it lasted.
