The reality is: this game is impossible to get into if you aren't already neck deep. The game was developed over years in a way that you are missing astoundingly large amounts of content. I have over 2000 hours between console and PC and I still missed large chunks due to time away from the game for seasons. I wish it was simple, as the game is in the best state its been in for YEARS, but that's just because nothing is time-gated anymore due to the development being shut down. like 70% of the storyline of the game is unplayable you jump story wise years because seasonal content progressed major story points and it was removed completely each year. nothing is presented very orderly, so you could easily play the most recent story while trying to play the oldest. this game died due to terrible UI decisions and management hyperfixating on things to retain seconds per play session that eventually burned out all the decade + long players. game is incredibly fun, with the most enjoyable gunplay i've experienced. sad its over.
