Amicalement, Le pasteur .

If I could leave a neutral review I would, but that's not possible so I'll give it a positive one depending on certain factors. First off, the writing is okay. The art style is good, It's very well made and the soundtrack is very good. Thematically, I'm not much for religion but the storyline is decent, it keeps you mildly engaged although the main focus is on the individual relationships between the characters and not the overarching story. As a fantasy setting it's very typical but also different, which is a good thing. Sadly I would've wanted more out of the overarching storyline to make it more captivating. The main female protagonist is bland and feels fragile, and although the game has reasons for her being that way it still feels off due to the lack of character development. There is some development going on, but it's very bare bones. The rest of the characters suffer from the same issue as the main character, but to a varying degree. I'd say that out of all of the characters, Keldran, the DLC character, is probably the most fleshed out one. This game being a free game is a good thing, it means that anyone is free to try it out for themselves without investing more than their time in it (whatever value that has to you is individual, no judgement here), and I can recommend people to try it if this is the setting they like. That said, the Keldran DLC is a tough one. While I felt that Keldran is the most fleshed out character out of the rest, I can only recommend it if you really like the base game. 6 euro (at the time of writing) for the DLC isn't a huge deal, I would've personally felt like 4-5 was more appropriate for the experience I had with the entire game though. Not bad, but not great either.
I think this is one of the only games that have made me cry. I don`t want to spoil to much but one of the endings is abolutely heartbreaking.
Short but sweet, with adorable graphics and decent story. Not into bad boys so I'm happy with both of Michael's endings and will not delve further.
Very enjoyable. Pretty men, decent story, music isn’t awful, and partial voice acting with good VA’s. It’s fairly short so not a lot of time investment required, which is nice sometimes. MC is, understandably so, fairly innocent/pure which I am generally not a fan of because it’s so overdone, but she caught on quickly, so it wasn’t as aggravating as I expected. The base game just has the Michael and Ace routes. I like Ace way more, and no, it’s not just because Michael has a mullet, and I just couldn’t get over that. Michael’s routes are very chaste and I’m just looking for more than that. I do recommend the DLC if you at least tolerate poly routes. I will not go out of my way for them usually, it’s just not my thing, but Ace is just so hot I felt it was worth trying. I burst out laughing and startled my husband when I got the
‘It got Dangerous, Kitten’ achievement because Blooming Panic is one of my all-time favorite games, and I knew that cameo came from characters in this game but had no clue it referenced back to BP as well
. I also think whatever the issues were with people playing the DLC have been sorted because I bought the DLC on one computer, then downloaded the base game on a separate computer to play later and didn’t have to go looking for a box to check, it just worked.
Amazing story, very emotionally moving, and gorgeous art.
This is a really good game! The graphics are really pretty (along with the CG art) and the music adds to the atmosphere. The story is a creative take on the Bible and biblical mythology. Plus the world building is detailed and well thought out. The voice acting is really good for all of the characters. The game is partly voiced - not all of the words or dialogue are read aloud, but that's OK. The heroine is sweet and stands up for herself, and the male characters are all distinct and believable. I definitely like the realistic sound effects too. There's a lot of good choices you can make to get different endings. All of the characters are really well written, interesting, and nuanced. Thanks very much for making this great game!
Really enjoyed the game, have still the dlc to do. But what i have gotten from the base have been pretty nice!
5/10 its alright, nothing to big or what ever its just alright
