Ruin a game studio with the power of performative DEI. In this linear satirical experience, the studio IS going to crash—that’s the point. Your choices just decide the flavor of the disaster. Can you boost your optics score enough to fail upwards before the inevitable collapse?

About

You are the new Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Your mandate? Raise the Culture Credibility Index (CCI). Leadership is panicked, investors are watching, and you have a lot of emails to answer.
Let’s be honest: You cannot save this studio. The ship is sinking, the captain is delusional, and the iceberg is made of good intentions.
This is a linear narrative experience. There are no branching paths to a "happy ending." No strategy saves the studio. Why? Because in this satire, the system itself is the problem. Your job isn't to fix the leak; it's to rearrange the deckchairs on the Titanic so they look more inclusive while you go down.

Field unhinged demands from a caricatural leadership team—from organizing "segregated safe spaces" to policing language with an AI bot.
Choose Your Poison: Will you ruin the team's morale with a mandatory 8-hour seminar or an intrusive personal survey? It doesn't matter! The studio will burn either way, but at least you get to pick the color of the flames.
Manage the Optics: Your choices might not save the company, but they save you. Boost your CCI score to ensure that when the dust settles, you have a shiny Golden Parachute waiting.
Witness the Train Wreck: Watch the studio crumble in real-time through the "Conscious Connect" social feed, where your employees scream into the void about your policies.
1 Hour of Pure Chaos: A tight, focused satirical story about corporate absurdity.
Meaningless Choices (Kind of): Pick A or B to see different funny dialogue, but the destination is always the same: Disaster.
Failing Upwards: The ultimate corporate skill. Can you destroy the product but still get a promotion?

While more of an extended joke than a game, this is a very funny (and all too true) joke. Definitely worth the two bucks for what is, essentially, a humorous story of a company imploding itself due to wokeness.
This game really makes you FEEL like a DEI manager.
This is a very educational game on how companies work and why things haven't been working for a long time. 10/10 would DEI again. Also, I'd want a version where its not a game studio but an actual megacorporation for a sequel.
Choose your slightly different ending, not adventure
When I first looked at this game, I thought, "Oh, this'd be a great experience to see what the harmful and beneficial DEI policies." Sadly, I only was able to see the harmful. Instead of being able to see both types of DEI policies, something that has some educational benefit, the developer only focused on the detrimental. Rather than having slightly different routes or messages depending on player actions, it just tunnels the player through the same story, just giving the player a slightly different ending and achievements if they went full totalitarian. Despite this criticism, I've chosen not to refund this game, since I did feel that I got $1.59 (discounted) worth out of this game.
A note to the developer:
This game's concept is great. As someone who hopes to become a business consultant, I was hoping to learn more on what DEI policies work and what don't. Though I understand wanting the studio to fail, Brenda and Chad did far too much damage themselves, giving players feedback, either in the form of tailored messages (in CC or email) or changes in events (like Maya or Dave White not quitting), on their interactions would've been all the more enveloping, creating a greater connection to the game and message. The moral of the story: Don't release a game like Mixtape; player interaction and feedback matters. Edit: The game continued running in the background while I wrote this review, despite stopping it on Steam. The total gameplay between 2 playthroughs was 1 hour, with plentiful breaks during gameplay.
A funny game that hits close to home
Игра прикольная но жалко русского языка нет
10/10 I would totally wreck a fictitious game company (or any company for that matter) with draconian DEI policies again!
C'est tellement stupide... j'adore. Un jeu court mais tellement drole, bravo!
It has a few glitches but it's awesome and provides great commentary.
mola :)
