Defiance & Mr. Good Looking

Even in Early Access form, this game is already quite fun. I like the mechanics and ability to switch between characters with unique weapons. The music is also quite catchy. Some enemies seem a little bullet spongy, and there could maybe be a bit more ammo and health power-ups in some levels, but I'm having a lot of fun so far. Thanks to E1M1 Magazine for providing a Steam key for the game as part of being a Patreon.

Game was abandoned, I can't find any info on it. Not like that matters, at least its not for sale anymore...but looking at it makes me sad. Late Update 9/5/2023: I asked the dev around the time I made this review why and he said it was too much stress to work on and he wanted to do things that made him happy. I am glad for him and sad for this project.

Defiance & Mr Good Looking is great but currently a bit rough around the edges. with a few patches stomping out the occasional bug such as not being able to switch characters or the AI pathfinding it'll be awesome. For now though it is a solid shooter that when its ready will hold up the test of time. Very good work.
