Deceit 2 is an online social deduction horror game. Inspire fear as the Infected, investigate as the Innocent, or create mayhem as the Cursed. Trapped with friends and strangers: who can you trust to help you escape?
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About

Deceit 2 is the online action PvP experience where your capacity for trust and deception are put to the test. Join an ancient Ritual run by a twisted Game Master, claim your Role and work out how you can Escape. Do you have the skills to work out who’s with you and who’s against you?

Three Teams go head-to-head; the Innocent, Infected and Cursed. However, nobody knows who is on their team and therefore: trust no one. Team up when it suits you, lie when it doesn't, and survive however you can. Every decision shapes how the nightmare unfolds, making every Ritual a unique story to tell.

The Ritual plays out across 5 unique locations, each steeped in atmosphere and danger. Each Ritual Site offers distinct layouts, challenging Tasks, and ultimately requires varied strategy if you're wanting to Escape before being Banished.

Around the Ritual Site you'll find Tasks which the Innocent must complete in order to Escape. The completion of these Tasks also unlock Items for the group at the Shop. Choose from Investigative, Offensive and Defensive tools which multiply the chaos, making each visit back to the Shop highly impactful.

Climb the Ranks and prove your dominance in competitive play. You'll be rewarded in your skills by unlocking exclusive rewards. Rise through Seasonal Leaderboards and challenge the strongest opponents to become a true Master of Deceit.

Participate as 1 of 9 Subjects trapped within the Ritual. Find your favourite, collect unlocks for them through Level Ups and customise their look inside the Collection.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Number one was peak when it came out. The players were cool, the map, the monster all of it felt made to put you on edge. But with this one, the game chat is what it must have been like for a Black Jew in 1945. If they banned them, to be fair, they would lose 50% of the game's player base.
I tried to load into a round multiple times just for the game to crash. After it crashed I would reload the game and try and join a round just for the game to punish me with a timer penalty that just keeps getting longer every time it crashes. Cannot recommend this trash.

Peyton didn't like it but i thought it was pretty cool.

Who's ever job it was to give up on Deceit and to make this fever dream of a trashy game should be fired this has less players then deceit 1 which is proof this is worse the models are not well made and even with best graphics looks like a game with a 50 dollar budget with unnecessary roles and mechanics that if you did a major pole even with console and pc majority would vote to just update 1 and not update this horrible remake I rather play any other game even league of legends or csgo like come on
