Its just another game that uses RNG to masquerade as difficulty. Boring after a while, nice artwork.
This game taught me a valuable lesson in which not everyone comes out alive, heroes can and will die whether you tried your damned-est or not. But that's the beauty in it, it forces you to think, to make decisions you may or may not want to make. 10/10 would recommend
No amount of knowledge of the systems of this game will make the dice rolls of feel fun. If its this frustrating for the first 4 hours I am out. Two out of three of my attacks miss, enemies seem to crit 50% of the time. Spamming attacks that increase stress. Stress reduction moves dont do enough. Like I just am not having fun. Not once did i feel lucky, every round was like a perfect situation to maximally screw me over. Like getting struck by lightning every time you see a damn cloud.
Gra jest jak życie. Idziesz do pracy, dostajesz załamania psychicznego, a po skończonej zmianie idziesz się upić do baru
Devs changed the file structure at some point, so I don't know how to mod it anymore and can't be bothered with it.
For me literally unplayable without mods. This game is not just hard, its unfair. The RNG in this game is....maybe the worst i ever had in a game. I even died in the Tutorial. So i would say this is only for Masochists if u play vanilla. I play it with mods and i have -a little- fun with it. but even then there a situation where the RNG is...just stupid.
The game is not good, like at all: 4/10 TL;DR: Dont waste your time, play something better. Reddit touted how amazing it is, and it looked quite interesting visually and from the descriptions so i tried it... a lot... Its just not a good game. There are way too many character values that dont respond or work like they seem and there is no explanation how they actually work, even searching online brings you nowhere, because the functionality of most stats changed vastly over the years and patches. Characters die constantly, which feels awful, because death being a threat is one thing, but you can literally die in a single enemy turn with no way to prepare, load or escape. Most of the story is just repeating miscellaneous quests with no interesting writing or anything. The combat itself is convoluted and complex for the sake of complexity with no sense, there would be so many ways to streamline the stats and functionality to make it make more sense and just be better, but they chose not to. The actual dungeon runs are slow, with most "encounters" i.e. objects you find not doing anything but being traps in disguise, so just ignore them. Traps are also often unavoidable even if detected and prepared for. The random dungeon map sounds fun at first, but once you see that you can run into a deadend and then slowly with a lot of loading screens have to go back THROUGH ALL ROOMS AND WALKWAYS YOU ALREADY WENT THROUGH WITH NOTHING NEW HAPPENING you see how much time is wasted literally doing nothing but walking. Seriously, the game is a severe disappointment and utter waste of time. I 100% the game because i wanted to give it a fair chance, but even with various mods and following dedicated builds to reduce strain it still took me way too long to get through this slog of a game...
Extremely RNG-dependent and several mechanics end up being the complete and undisputed meta(stuns and high speed), leading to specific combinations and playstyles being objectively the best while others are heavily punished and result in tedious gameplay with large setbacks
