"Abandon Expedition" is currently the best button in the game. If I were the Dev, I would devote more resources to that feature I have over 100 hours on the original. Go play that -Update- I have now played 50 hours of this game and I stand by my original review
This game is really really repetitive and not in a good way. The runs are too long and once you've played through an area a few times it all starts to blend together. There's no real variety. You fight the same fights over and over again.
I was enjoying it at first, but after the first area the game becomes a slog. I'm glad I got it on sale, because this ain't it, chief. Furthermore, the crusader is locked behind a paywall. You have to buy add-ons to get the full experience, which is never cool. It's a shame that Red Hook decided to go the route of EA.
如果你没玩过地牢一,那他是个很有意思的游戏,如果你玩过地牢一,那这作显然并不多好玩,但就是很帅,是的,我就是因为很帅所以买了
unfortunatley just not at all up to par with the original game
Not a very good sequel...the developers seemed to have been so concerned with doing somthing new they messed around with their "winning" formula from the first game and gave us whatever this is.
The mechanics are really ♥♥♥♥ IMO. Stress and healing are balanced so bad in this game. Healing is gated behind your character being at a certain HP BEFORE they can get healed. Like why? The relation system feels way to forced, and if you don't have good relations you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ really hard from the debuffs put on your moves. I also hate that you are forced to fight a lair boss to challenge the mountain because one of your characters will always die to one unless you have a very specific team made, and you will always have a character have a meltdown from stress which then make EVERYONE on your team hate them. Like you already lose all that characters health when they have a meltdown and on top of that they get -2 relation with everyone which in turn makes all your moves worse. Horrendous balancing decision. I get the game is suppose to be hard, but like when this happens it's an instant abandon run. It's not just that either. Getting certain diseases in this game can also be instant abandon runs as well. Their is a disease that gives your character -15% max health. If you get this on your tank the run is not worth continuing, and this applies in every bad way you can think of for other roles as well. In the first game, yea there are bad things that can happen, but runs would be like 15-20 min max. This is a full on slay the spire type game. Runs take like 40-60 min each and it feels gigga ♥♥♥♥ when something like this happens, because it doesn't feel like I did something wrong in most cases. I just get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by RNG and am expected to say "unlucky" and go to the next run. If that happened like 1 of 5 runs sure. But it happens like 4 of 5 runs. There is to much RNG in this game for healing to be limited, and stress to be egregiously punishing.
First of all, the artstyle and animation is great. But that's about where the positives end for me. This game is just needlessly confusing with some of the worst UI/UX I've ever seen. Everything is massively scaled and combat buffs/debuffs are indicated with vague, non-descript icons, forcing you to constantly check a full screen cheat sheet they hide in a separate overlay to be able to interpret pretty much anything that's happening. I don't know who is playing these type of menu-heavy games on a tv with a controller, but that's who this is evidently for. So many pointless extra clicks to get basic info. Drove around and did the virtual equivalent of treading water in this for about 6 hours, wandering around cluelessly for about 10 minutes each time before you invariably get put against a fight that you have no chance of winning. Rinse, repeat for as long as you can stomach this nonsense.
Disappointing
Tf are dev taking recently? They nerf a character in a single player game for absolute no reason at all. These character not even broken.
