Wall jump feels very unintuitive (jank) to use. This game seemed playable but it feels like a science project rather than something immersive and enjoyable.
This shows the extraordinary hard work that Elroy Saltzherr put into the game with his 6+ years of unity game design experience. The lore of this game is more intense than elden ring and game play is better than haides. how this wasn't nominated for game of the year is a crime of humanity. If i was looking to hire a game designer then Elroy Saltzherr would be my first pick for an amazing game.
Hi all o7 Don't pay attention to negative reviews. The game worked 100% fine for me. Had zero issues, zero bugs, all the controlls worked perfectly, so I have no idea what those other people are talking about. Except the Crow, I always know what Crow is talking about. CAW! LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! o7

Everything imaginable is wrong with this game.
Although I had a decent time playing it, an overall lack of polish really holds the game back. Despite having cool character designs and fatalities, the game bordered on tedious by the time I finished it due to lack of enemy variety and combat fluidity.
A very interesting development branch in the genre of idle games. The developer is passionate and updates frequently, I wish him good luck in fully fleshing out his idea.
"Dark Throne" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. I'm not sure if this is a student project (if so, they all failed) or if it's just from a bunch of would-be developers wondering why nobody in the gaming industry would hire them (this game explains why), but either way, this is awful. A run of the mill pixelcrap platformer trying and failing to capture that Castlevania feeling. You take on the role of a knight with amnesia, and I could really relate to that character because after playing this I desperately wanted amnesia to take the memory of this garbage away. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.
Amazing game but we need more bosses
