Loving this game so far. I never really post reviews but since i liked that game so much here's mine: It's not an open world like Elden Ring, but the maps, objectives and quest lines are so well designed that overall, the game really does not feel like it's linear. (This is what i feared the most before buying the game... I feared that, after elden ring, games like this one would be too linear for me and i feared that i couldn't go back to farm some souls or grab some objects i missed. But Dark Souls 3 is not like that, you can always go back if you missed something and the gameplay loop is really addictive) At first i struggled a little bit with the mouse/keyboard inputs but hence this game was developped for consoles, i get it. This game wasn't designed to play on mouse/keyboard. But once i switched to my controller, the gameplay became way smoother, and i loved it so much that from now on, i'll only be playing souls-like games with a controller. I feel like it's way more intuitive for me. Anyways, I would recommand this game to anyone that likes to challenge themselves and exceed their own expectation. 9/10
Easily my least favorite of the Soulsbourne games (not counting Elden Ring). Very linear, very brown, armor means nothing, respeccing is gimped, pyromancy kinda stinks, the enemies and maps are overwhelmingly "meh". The game had the rightful reputation of being a dumping ground for unused Bloodbourne assets. It definitely has that vibe for large portions. I don't like how online play/humanity works here compared to any of the other games. This was the real start of Fromsoft sanding off the rough (or in my opinion "interesting and compelling") gameplay mechanics. More streamlined, More memberberries. But it's still a little bit of Old Fromsoft, and I appreciate that. Also the game has an abysmal stutter that i have never found a fix for.
fire keeper good
I play this after Elden Ring (which I finished and I love). Just amazing. Ευχαριστώ!
