A simple and very short experience, basically a escape the room without any real puzzles, as you just have a list of ingredients that don't require much effort to find. Despite the length (which makes it looks like a demo tbh) I'll give it a thumbs up because it's *extremely* well done, the artstyle is great, it has lots of little details and a very nice and cozy atmosphere. The end of the game hints at a much larger narrative which includes ARG elements and other future games. I'm very interested in the project and just hope that the future installments will have more content and complexity.
It's extremely simple. You put a list of things into a pot. That's it. It's also broken with Index controllers... you can kind of play, if you exercise extreme patience, but whether you pick up things seems almost entirely random (and you often pick up things through walls!). Controllers also buzz constantly. No settings of any kind. All in all, seems very much like an unfinished prototype. Nice art and use of lighting though.
Its a very short little single room escape room puzzle game. In which you need to gather items for a potion. The graphics are quaint and quite cute, and I had a fun enough time with the game, however it's really short to play though only taking about 5-10 minutes. Its hard to fully recommend this as very little to it, but also It's only $3 which is think it really more than a fair price. so if thise is the kind of really casual experience you want, then its good with the expecations set.
I know, I know, the game only cost $2, and I can imagine it’s meant to be more of a tech demo, but I still wish there were at least a bit more to do. The controls are okay, but not particularly good. The controllers vibrate almost constantly because you’re always hovering over objects you can interact with, even though most of them are basically useless. Once you’ve gone through the recipe on the side of the cauldron, that’s pretty much it. If the game gets developed further and eventually becomes a full title, I’d love to see a spellbook where you unlock recipes step by step. It would be great if you actually had to use the cooking spoon to stir the potion, if you had proper hands that interact realistically with the environment, and if ingredients had to be chopped or ground with a mortar. There are so many possibilities for how the game could evolve. Nevertheless, it’s a nice, very short experience.
