This game gets its claws in you. Went in expecting a janky extraction shooter — walked out 8 hours later with a full inventory, three close-call escapes, and a genuine adrenaline addiction. What grabbed me: - **The tension is real.** Every footstep, every lantern flicker, every creaking door — you feel hunted. And you are. - Combat has weight. No spray-and-pray. Block timing, spacing, stamina management — it rewards patience and punishes greed. My fighter main feels crunchy in the best way. - The extraction loop hits different. That moment you see the blue portal spawn... heart racing... do I grab the last purple drop or book it? I've died to greed twice. Worth it both times. - Party dynamics > solo. Running duo/trio with voice — callouts, revives, splitting loot, "I GOT THE PORTAL GO GO GO" — peak gaming moments. Made two randoms into regulars last night. - Art direction carries hard. Grim, moody, readable. Torchlight in the dark feels atmospheric, not just "dark for dark's sake." Rough edges (it's early access, I know): - Desync happens. Got hit through a block once. Reported it. - Matchmaking queues vary. Late night NA = 3-5min. Acceptable. - Some class balance feels off (wizard meteor feels... generous). Devs seem active though. Verdict: If you liked Hunt: Showdown's tension but want fantasy melee/magic with tighter moment-to-moment combat — this is it. The "one more run" pull is dangerous. My sleep schedule is already ruined. 8/10 currently. 9/10 once they iron the netcode.
Elegancka giereczka :)
Its a very fun and grindy game. although it can get difficult to progress without the DLC. But the game is free so i dont have much to complain about. overall really fun with friends.
