Dark and Darker is actually a great game with a unique atmosphere, tense gameplay, and a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the developers keep sabotaging their own work with questionable technical decisions. Since Hotfix #123, Ironshield fails to update its anti-cheat components under Linux/Proton and consistently returns Error Code 16. The issue persists even with Proton Experimental/Bleeding Edge, a fresh Proton prefix, verified game files, and a clean Btrfs installation. The game worked before the update. Now it is effectively unplayable on Linux. I’d love to recommend it, but until the developers fix what they broke, this has to be a negative review. 没更新前都还可以玩，更行后直接进不去，一开始游戏就弹出（错误code：16）

Was medicore at its best but now they've become so ♥♥♥♥ to resort to using generative Ai, what a terrible waste of money for gameplay worse than anything like it.
