i like chicken nuggets
Encountered some error in the game and I will happy to let the devs know. Most of them are not much of a problem, however there when I start the 2nd game after finishing the 1st, the game become extremely laggy (stutter every 0.5 sec) making the game unplayable, moreover my pc fans start going crazy (It might be something like memory leak idk), but the overall idea is good, suitable for someone who nees a break from Brotato and Vampire Survival. However I don't understand how passive work because you need to press E to use it, so it would be more like an ability (passive should trigger auto), but for 3 passive skills I got I need to press E to use it like an ability. Moreover, the passive skill that blocks all enemy hits and return later got a bug where on the 2nd use, it won't fire back at the end and the whirling animation keeps stacking up, and the cooldown increase instead of decreasing (or should I say, it's more like a cool-up (¬‿¬)). I can do some testings to find more bugs if the dev wants since it's quite a cool game.

Absolutely hooked on CyVenge! Even in its early access stage, the roguelite mechanics blend seamlessly with the arena shooter gameplay, offering endless hours of action-packed fun. The variety in weapons and enemies keeps every run fresh. Excited to see how it evolves. Highly recommend for anyone how likes games like Brotato or Vampire Survivors. 10/10!
"CyVenge" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Vampire Survivors (Copyright Poncle, 2021). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "CyVenge" is considerably worse than Vampire Survivors. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. This was made as an "Electron" container, which, if you're curious, is a web application bundled with a chromium browser to present the HTML/Java content that makes up the game... so basically this is a glorified web page that the developer has dumped on Steam. It was designed and intended for web browsers and mobile phones. It can't be considered a true PC game. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $5 USD for this. Talk about delusions of grandeur... but remember, this guy was trying to get YOUR money for stealing someone else's game concept. This is never okay. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. They also have their hand out for a $4 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money from buying empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 9 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? Nope. There's no up front cost here, but I still feel like I got ripped off, and I didn't even spend any money. That's how bad this is.
Just another lousy survivors game, thank you for the achievements bill
