It's a great game. I've been playing it practically everyday. It's great to reduce boredom, and a very addictive clicker game. The whole design of the game is great, and I'm thinking of giving Blush Blush a try as well after playing this. The artstyle is amazing and beautiful (give the art team a raise). Other than that, I'll definitely play the rest of Sad Panda Studios' games. Keep it up!
This game is personally for me one of my favorites and will still be for the foreseeable future, but I want to be able to make a genuine judgement and recommend the game for what it is rather than just a glaze fest. I feel the game has had pretty good balancing if you're going for a completely real money free experience with a few hiccups, but does take a lot more time to make progress and there will be a lot of offline-ing for the game. And although it is a possibility to collect 90% of the characters without spending money, most after the main ones end up as a grind over multiple months to save gems. If just playing to enjoy the base game and collect all the steam achievements then it's overall not a bad experience and I would not recommend spending money, but if this game becomes as beloved to you as it is to me than it would seem that over time spending is the only way to progress. Now for my own personal gripe with the game, I personally feel it has gone more and more into a money prioritizing game as it feels more and more characters end up getting unloved due to getting the pay real money boot. And while its fair to give characters who unlock new jobs or abilities or even extra gems behind a paywall it has always felt a bit crushing that some of the greatest characters are some people wont enjoy due to being stuck behind a pay wall, and that is becoming more common especially with the recent DLCs. This complaint also isn't truly about the money but mostly about how once you get to a certain point it almost feels like the game plays itself. If you spend time on the game like the amount I and others have it gets to a point that every new girl comes out I click maybe 10-15 buttons and rather than interact with the girl it has just become a clicker game with little soul. And I understand that it might just be me not wanting to sit and pretend I cant just immediately finish a girls entire relationship bar in a few presses but it really starts to feel not worth paying anymore once it money and skills are essentially maxed. All this being said I still think base game is entirely worth it and might take a few hours and a couple days offline to really grind, but a max achievement play through would definitely be worth it. Along with this I also recommend that unless it just calls to you that playing this game for more than the maybe 10-20 hours online it'll take to beat don't spend money. This is and will be the only kind of microtransaction game I spend money on and it is entirely a slippery slope so unless this game is planning to be on your account till you're 80 don't spend money on it. I doubt anyone will truly read this review and even if someone does it probably ended up a pile words mashed together but I felt I wanted to try and do the game justice and give my honest review of it.
Amazing game!
