Tab+Alt.

good
Also wozu das Ganze?
Crowd Control is a multiplayer only 2D demo/game jam game that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. It's a simple multiplayer game where each of the players must "convert" members of the crowd to perform in a "Mexican Wave" of their own colour. Game jam games aren't serious or genuine attempts to make a video game, but more like publicity stunts in an attempt to advocate and glorify low-standard indie development movements. While there's some value in potentially convincing someone to become a professional game developer instead of an indie, for the most part the products of game jams aren't of sufficient depth and richness that they should be compared to professionally developed, sincere gaming products. Imagine if airlines held airplane jams and tried to see if people could build aircraft single handedly in less than 48 hours. Would you fly on that plane? GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs, although in this case it was used as a crutch to speed up this entry into a game jam. The game is completely free, which is appropriate considering this isn't a professionally developed game and is just a demo/game jam entry. However, nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises, and without the need for construction kit templates.
This game isn't great. The objective isn't that clear and, while it is reasonably fun, there are better games. However, it is free and that makes it worth it. edit: just noticed there is controls and gameplay information in the store description. My bad.
