Crosshair X

Crosshair X is one of those things that sounds completely pointless until you actually start using it. At the end of the day you're literally paying for a crosshair on your screen, but honestly it does its job really well. Theres loads of different crosshairs to choose from and you can pretty much make whatever you want. Changing the size, colour, shape etc is easy and once you've got one you like you can just forget about it. For games with terrible crosshairs or barely any crosshair customization its actually really useful. The annoying part is getting it working sometimes. Certain games or fullscreen settings can make the overlay decide it doesn't want to exist anymore, then you're messing around with Xbox Game Bar trying to figure out why the crosshair that worked yesterday suddenly isn't showing today. When it works though, it just works. I wouldn't say its going to magically turn you into Shroud or make your aim 10x better, but having a crosshair you're actually comfortable with definitely feels nicer than being stuck with some massive default one. Also worth checking the rules for whatever game you're using it on because I wouldn't just assume every game is fine with third party overlays. Overall its simple, does exactly what it says and I've definitely got my use out of it. Is paying money for a dot in the middle of your screen slightly stupid? Probably. Would I go back to playing without it? Probably not. Good little program. Just wish the overlay wasn't such a pain in the arse sometimes.
