Ok, sure, the game is incomplete in a vast variety of ways, and there might not be another update, but for what its worth (free) a lot of the characters are very unique while still retaining aspects of their original games. I sincerely think the game is quite fun with unique mechanics and it is a shame that it has a mixed rating

10/10 has Jumbo Josh
its really not that bad. idk why it has mixed reviews, i think the idea of an indie super smash bros is really good tbh
I'm aware this game is in early access, so I will give some leeway on its quality and just leave some things i would like to personally see fixed: I have no ability to remap any button other than attack in the custom controls menu, nor can i see a list of what button does what Gamecube is not supported natively in spite of the controller icon being a literal gamecube controller. The game kinda feels a little hard to understand, for example mort's neutral special seems to be random rather than happening when i want it to, his side b has little to no animation so i cant tell if im stuck throwing it or am just standing still, and in general everything just looks off. Menu buttons too spaced apart, the "quit" button being already highlighted by an existing mouse that isnt my mouse nor does it glow when selected, wiggly lines, etc. The tutorial was only about how to jump??? who tf doesnt know how to jump in a platform fighter??? If there are grabs and throws i didnt get hooked early enough to see them on account of how strange the game feels to play at the moment i look forward to a more polished product though, making mort a spacie was genius
honestly a fun time... maybe because the guy i was playing with had no idea what the controls are... i didnt too
I actually like this game quite a bit, I do. And the devs are chill people. Best part is my goats V1 and Jumbo Josh But hope the developers can manage to flesh it out more but as it stands now, the game is simply not good The arcade mode is so lackluster it's kind of sad with a pathetically easy boss fight and no randomization. The online mode is only really functional through requesting matches on the Discord Server, but not any way else. There is a lot of work to be done with the game
if you want to play a good fighting game pick anything but thıs. The tutorial doesn't work lıke ıt that bad
This game gives me an overwhelming sense of dread whenever I pass by it in my steam library
