Do you like to code? The answer will be the same for the question of Should you buy this utility? Because if I have to write in any language which produces a formula, it's gonna be on a more versatile VTT. It's not bad and it does what it says it does - it's just no easier than any other VTT with 5 times the features.
Super useful for DMing. You do have to put in a little work and go find the xml files for all the reference materials you want to use, but the import tool makes it super easy and quick. I love how easy it is to make characters. It only took me a few minutes to copy my characters from a mobile app I was using. I also really like that all changes you make are uploaded to the steam cloud. I can work on some encounters at home on my pc before a sesh, and then take my laptop to a friends house and have everything there(Just make sure you close the program or it won't upload) I feel like the encounters could use some work(or I don't understand how it works). I have to add each creature by itself. There's an option for the quantity of creatures, but it doesn't give each creature with its own initiative. all creatures in that group have the same initiative. For example if I had one character against 3 orcs, all the orcs would have the same single roll. Would be nice when you start the encounter if you could have a separate initiative per creature or you could change the initiative per creature. My work around is to just add each creature individually and that works for me, though it takes longer. It would also be nice to be able to jump to the actions of each creature/character when you click on the "next initiative" button or have it readily available without having to expand each creature. Another suggestion is to have the characters health bar on the encounter screen. That way I don't have to keep switching back and forth between the character screen and the encounter screen. I realize its just one person doing all of it, but I can see this tool has a lot of potential. I would definitly recommend this program.

Honestly never use this. Can't return now
It's ok, I just wish it had a steam workshop section.
I have an issue with some imported files where clicking the monster tab closes the application, but I can't blame the devs for that, so all around an amazing application which has been very useful to me.
This is an incredible tool! UI is clear and easy to follow, most importantly, every aspect is easy to edit (homebrew friendly). Started filling up some backgrounds, class traits. I think, a good option would be making sections (show more/show less) to make e.g. class reading even quicker (if great old one warlock then parts from fiend/archfey can be hidden). Please keep it up, it is a wonderful project :D
Bloody well amazing software with minimal requirements to add your bookshelf to it. XML is written in a simple <tag> </tag> format, with helpful <!---comments---> as well, keeping everything nice and easy to make characters in a hurry. Better to get in on it sooner than later, or you'll be adding more and more books' worth of content to a free program that you could have had up to date a while ago!
I have not had any issues with this app and love how useful it is.
This software is absolutely amazing for PC-based D&D management. Though the custom language used is a process to learn once you understand it it's easy, fast, and lightweight. If you think you want to try it I'd 100% try it because it's free and if you don't like it there's plenty of other software. 10/10 amazing software
Great Software to organize your adventures thank you very much!
