Bestest Game Everrrrr

Buggy, clunky, garbage.

This is the type of game you'd get lost into as you did in all those epic open world games. You do have bugs here and there, stuff getting glitchy from time to time, questionable input, but they're not game breaking, the game still feels fun. The world feels organically fluid, real, and it's stunning. I had many times when I just stopped and watched it in awe, on how well they made it feel and look. They gave me that "oooh I see that mountain peak over there and I wanna go there" moment just like Skyrim did a lifetime ago. You can see the passion this game was made with when you forget to look at the time, it's already dark outside and the food you prepped to eat it's already cold. You never get bored in this game, just tired because it's already 2 in the morning but you wanna finish that last quest before bedtime...said you 3h ago. I'll update the review when I'll have many more h into this game, but honestly? As for now it's worth your time and money. I MUCH prefer this over the flappy flops the west tends to spit lately.

Good things about the game: you can do a lot in it. It is like a dream. Fights are fun. Graphics are nice. The story on a meta level is good. There are more secrets and secret locations than a single player can ever find on their own. But here start the bad things. The NPCs are annoyingly repetitive. You would think that in the time of AI the game could find good conversations with some level of immersiveness. But no. It is like the old Ultima games. The world is just sterile. How things work is often totally unclear. The devs know how a task must be done. But the game doesn't communicate it to the player. Without YouTube nobody would want to play the game because player would get stuck at things like "dye something of you gear" in the game. Which is actually part of a mission. Still, I played 120 hours. But now I can't play it anymore because my savegame loads into a blackscreen. Update 1.16.01 broke the save games! But hey! It is still possible to start a new game and after another 120 hours you will have a broken savegame again. Your freedom in the world is better than The Witcher, better than KCD2, better than Baldurs Gate 3. But the counts for nothing if Pearl Abyss can't make the easy things like a savegame system work. I am on PC Win11, 64 GB RAM, RTX 3070 GPU.

It sucks haven't been ripped off like this since Anthem, Don't recommend. Just a polished S..t Game, wish i could get my money back.

Amazing game, controls are a little odd to me, story is a little hit and miss, but still the game is very enjoyable. I don't have a leet sauce gaming rig, and it still looks incredible. Something to experience for sure if you have a GPU that can play this at high settings.

So far, this game is already a ton of fun. It's like a Korean Witcher, or something. It's medieval European fantasy made by a Korean developer with a Scottish main character, and wacky lore. But the combat is super smooth and punchy, and the controls work well.
